Don't forget March Badness next month. It's the first time we've had that event in a few years. It's a great location with plenty of great roads. |

Time to plan for Buells in the Alps 5. RPM is planning to be there again. Mike has rooms set aside for us at the Skyline Village Inn which are filling up fast. If you're coming, PHONE him to make reservations soon. More info here: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 753978.html?1427706164 |

John- have you heard from the guys at RPM? I know this mess with EBR has to be hitting them hard. |

As far as I know, they still plan on being there. I would imagine they will bring a couple bikes. Haven't asked lately |

Anyone been up to Carolina Motorsports Park for a track day? There are a couple of co-workers that ride so we've been talking about picking a day and heading up there. $150 for a day doesn't seem too bad. Any interest in dates for the fall? June 20-Saturday (Bikes Included) July 11-12-Saturday and Sunday (Bikes Included) August 22-23-Saturday and Sunday (Bikes Included) October 24-25-Saturday and Sunday (Bikes Included) November 14-15-Saturday and Sunday (Bikes Included) December 5-6-Saturday and Sunday (Bikes Included) http://www.carolinamotorsportspark.com/turn-one-sc hedule.html |

Rich- I haven't participated, but I have been up there and watched a trackday. Badwebber "Rubberdown" participated in a few events there. It's a nice facility, although not the best for spectators- much of the track is not viewable from where you can stand. It's located outside the little town of Kershaw, which doesn't have much there, and about 20 miles north of Camden which has a decent selection of hotels and restaurants. |

Anyone know of .010 over sized pistons for a 2004 buell xb12? |

^ The parts book doesn't list any, but IIRC it specifically says "STD" by the pistons sort of implying that oversizes are available. I'd check with American Sport Bike; likely Al knows if HD makes them in over sizes or he'll know of another source if there is one. |

I had a "new" Buell sighting near Charleston yesterday; a 2006/2007 Uly passed me on I-26 near Ashley Phosphate Road headed toward Charleston. I was in my truck at the time. It's been months since I've seen a Buell on the road here. |

Just saw on the Quickboard where long-time Badwebber Cyclone Charlie passed away yesterday morning: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/770468.html?1443021704 Charlie was originally from the Roanoke, VA area but had lived in SC for the past 10 or so years. I knew he'd been sick but didn't realize how serious it was. RIP Charlie. |

When "i" put this group together Charlie always showed up to ride !!! He had a lot of OLD SCHOOL Racing knowledge that went with him ... If "i" remember correctly he rode a XB9R then ... |

^ Yep, I remember he showed up at our first meet in Columbia, SC on an XB9R. He let me ride it around the parking lot; that was my first experience with a race pattern shifter and it totally stymied me! He was certainly an interesting fellow to talk to. |

Hey all. I'm new to Buells and I'm from Ladson. Just brought home an '06 XB12Ss. Having some issues and looking to meet fellow owners who might be able to walk me through the bike's quirks... And of course ride when possible. |

Brad- Welcome on board and congrats on the Buell. I got your PM. I won't be of much help with ECMspy, but I can advise on other quirks. If you'll be around this coming weekend maybe we can get together. |

Thank you sir. I think I'm starting to figure out the reset process but burned up my battery along the way! Ugh. I've got to work this weekend but we'll see what happens. |

Congratulations! Now that you've got it running, important safety tip #1: don't "blip" the throttle on a cold engine. It WILL foul the spark plugs. |

Do we "blip" the throttle at any time?? Just checking to see if I missed the memo... |
