Cool. It seems we are about as spread out as the city itself. The Spring / Woodlands area may actually make for a passable mid-point for a meetup. There are some decent roads not far from there to the north for those that would want to stick around and go for a ride after the meet and greet. | ||

Well, Brick House does NOT have Fox Sports 1 or 2. I also called several other places around my area, none of which carry those networks. You'd think in a city this size it would be fairly easy to come by a place showing MotoGP races. | ||

we are going to try this again. Zane contacted me today as he has been in texas city since march. moved in from florida. He was looking for any kind of bike nights. Give him a shout if you can. I would like for any active Houston folks to message in, see where you are located, and start some at least bimonthly get togethers throughout the rest of the year and see where this goes. we have pockets of folks or individuals so sprawled out it really works against us. give a shout to zane and welcome him in to the area. to all, take care and ride safe! I hadnt ever heard of the allen americans till my sc stingrays went up against them for the kelly cup. Heck, wife n i drove 630 miles to go to allen , tx. To see game 7 of that series sunday. Hi Sagehawk. The Uly is still in the same state of disrepair it was in the last time it stranded me. I haven't messed with it since I rolled it off the trailer however long ago that was. Two months maybe? I'm in no hurry to fix it. | ||

As an aside, I met another Bueller yesterday who is new to the Houston area. He has an S1, but he was riding an old Concours yesterday. I dont know of anyone in my area that has a 1125 much less one for sale. When i was with the nbots several years ago, a fellow by the name of daniel flick headed that group up. Several 1125's in that group. They may know of someone wanting to sale theirs. Ill check if i still have a number and will pm you with it. Ill let you know if i dont. Been about 3 years since i rode with them . . |
