There is the ride around Lake Winnebago this Sat. Meets at the shop at 10am. Sunday Oct 3rd, Slimey Crud Run! Meet at H-D/Buell of Appleton at 7:30-8:00 Ride LEAVES at 8:30 Going to make a stop in Madison at, yes, you guessed it, Starbuck's on Monona Ave. It's right off of Hwy 18/14 and there is a 66 station right next door so we can gas up. Hey Gang! Need a little support because I am gonna loose it. Problem with kick stand kill switch? Wont go once put into gear, kills, no power to headlight etc... Friggin seat lock junk..I am getting ready to release, the bike that is. Have barely been riding. Nickel and dime garbage let alone the time consumed is draining me. Sorry to sound so negative. Hope everyone is having a better time with thier bike Pale | ||

Sounds like a kickstand switch to me. Easy fix. The seat lock, what's it not doing? Dave | ||

Great thing when you happen to know a tube frame mechanic!  Lake has convinced me to forgive and move on so I have given her another chance. Thanks Lake! By the way Dave could you have them (Appleton HD) order a new kick stand switch they can install it with the two isolators that are on backorder from the last stator replacement, when the isolators arrive. That would be GREAT! Any word on those clutch and brake bolts and nuts? Thanks Pale | ||

Well the turnout for the Saturday ride around Lake Winnebago was pretty slim. Jihn and Shannon and Computer Todd were the only ones to show up. I know a bunch of you had to work as well as the ride planner Geoff. I had to work too. Anyway, other than the lunch spot being closed, the ride went without a hitch. Next meeting/ride is Sept 21st, be here at 6pm. Oct 3rd Slimey Crud Run be here no later than 8am, kickstands up at 8:30 SHARP. Have a full tank of gas! Oct 4th Track Day | ||
