Stopped by Top Spoke too, talked to Kenny. He says that they are getting an RX of each color, and an SX next week. Also said some motorcycle mag came through, did test, track and street on their demo for an article. | ||

Welcome to Arizona . There are to guys in Tucson who are on this board. We get together first Monday of every month . Participation during the summer is slim but still o.k. I am headed to the ride in Taos this weekend so I won't be around but I will text you my number. Ghostrider will be gone as well but he has been looking for someone to ride with . | ||

Well, I'm also going to the Taos Buell Rally this weekend. Not sure what your timing is like, but it's going to be a blast. Mt. Lemmon is a nice ride, but it's not going to be quick. There are a lot of cars and bicycles and there was a recent news story about the cops cracking down on speeders on the mountain. There is a nice place at the top for lunch, though. Good burger and usually have some kind of pie. I think it's called Sawmill Run. Are you just now getting into AZ? The fall is supposed to be pretty nice. Maybe if you have a weekend off coming up, we can ride up north or out to 191 for an overnight ride. It's quite a bit better when you get out of the hot. I'll PM you with my cell. I work some weekends but we can set something up. | ||

I hope you don't mind but I already sent him yours and Arts phone numbers :-) Maybe we can do an up north ride before he leaves up through Show low or Payson ,Strawberry, Pine, Mormon Lake I like that area . Mormon Lake Lodge has good food as well.. | ||

I was up to the Mormon Lake area in May for Overland Expo and camped at the lodge. It's a nice area and we could probably do a nice overnight ride over a Saturday night. I'm open... let's sort out dates. | ||

EBR test Rides. September 8th, the AZ ASBN group will be meeting at Easy Riders in Tempe. 6:30 pm. Watch for more details.....REX So are we still on for this? I'm definitely going to be there. I think it's going to turn out to be a weird day for me though... I have a work thing in Scottsdale in the morning. Hate to go up and back twice. Have to figure out how to ride up, work, stay, enjoy EBRs, etc.  | ||

Rode from Tucson to Bisbee today via Sonoita and Tombstone. Bisbee kinda sucked. It was warm, but it's in a valley so no breeze. The bugs were unbelievable. Gnats flying around your face almost non-stop. Made lunch a real pain in the ass. Tomorrow I'm riding from Tucson to Sedona. Some buddies and I are talking about doing an Iron Butt Saddle Sore 1000 soon and this guy doesn't have too many high mileage days, so we're going to get about 550 tomorrow going to Sedona and back. Of course, we'll stop and have lunch up there and see what there is to see. Leaving Tucson around 0800 or so and taking a speed route up 17. | ||

The weather reports have been all doom and gloom for this weekend and would have you believe it's going to be pouring rain continuously through Monday night. Since it was pretty nice out today and really didn't live up to expectations, I'm going to take the chance on few or no rainstorms tomorrow while I'm travelling. I'll be riding up on the Uly in the very early morning for a training class in the north Scottsdale area and then have some time off in the afternoon before we meet up at 6:30p. I called today and confirmed the demo rides tomorrow. The girl seemed pretty excited to hear people are coming. See you all tomorrow. | ||

Sorry to hear that you chose to ignore those warnings. It is flooding here from massive amounts of rain. Not sure about tonights test rides at this point we will have to wait and see. Some places on the sixty are two and three feet deep of water right now. Mark | ||

Well... At the last minute this morning, I looked up the weather and saw this:  So... I decided that I'd drive the truck. I got going and stopped for gas before getting on the freeway. Just then, they called and told me that the training was cancelled due to weather. So, I'm still here in Tucson and looking to drive up later today. Maybe I'll call the place and see if they're still planning to do the event. | ||
