Pmpsky, best bet is send the fiancee to Motorcycle safety beginners class. If she likes it, get her a Blast. If she is over 4"10", she'll fit. |

Pmpski_1, Don't listen to those Buell haters, I have over 41,000 miles on my 97 S1 in 4 years! It's gets riden all the time, rain, sun, snow, dirt roads, gets parked under a tree all it life, and allways starts and is alot of fun. Anyone can tell you about my wrecthed redhead, ask Deb buellnuts wife, she held it at redline for at least 10 miles on the way home from BorderRaid! Hey Deb, want to ride again? Later, Brandon Think BUELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

As for servicing dealers, I think Eastside Harley may give you better service and slightly better prices than Downtown H-D. The ride to Bellevue is nicer than the ride to Tukwila, anyway. |

Thanks Kimberlie! I was going all right did a couple of laps around our neighborhood last night with Branden on behind me, then tonight we went to this vacant parking lot and I went around a couple of times by myself. Then I went to go around the corner one more time, I started to lug it, didnt pull in the clutch then decided to grab the front brake with my feet still on the pegs... needless to say we both met pavement. But I got back on and went around again. Only damage was a broken shifter peg. |

Hey BorderRaid riders!!!!!! I need a head count for those riding Sunday from Whistler to Penticton. Have to let the farm know how many to expect for lunch. Could you please go to the BorderRaid thread here on Storm Fronts and see if your name is listed. If it is, just confirm that you're going. If it isn't and you are going; please let us know! Thanks and hope to see y'all there! Ride on, LO |

Alright; here's a link to Whistler's weather: http://theweathernetwork.com/weather/cities/can/Pages/CABC0322.htm And here's a link to Penticton's weather: http://theweathernetwork.com/weather/cities/can/Pages/CABC0218.htm Hopefully those two links work. I'm hoping the weather will be great so let's just all think positively. Last year we were more concerned about the forest fires so I'll deal with a bit of rain as a trade off anyday! Tracie, congrats on the bike!! You'll be fine with practice. Check out my site for novice motorcycle tips; http://bcrider.com/novice.html You're wise to practice BEFORE the course, as preparation (and practice) can boost your confidence immensely! Much luck! Ride on, LO |

Anyone go to the Isle of Vashon TT yesterday? I saw 3 other Buells, but couldn't ID them. Beautiful day for riding ferries, looking at old bikes, and tooting around the island. I got some pics... |

greetings from colorado. the bikes fit into the back of the truck. oh how i hate to load up the ramp to the bed of the truck. chuck doesn't seemed bothered at all by it. we leave tomorrow for washington after chuck is off work. driving straight through. deb and bob are promising dinner and beverage on arrival. i am so excited about seeing everyone again. Yea on your new bike kim! i can hardly wait to see ya. galen, it's been to long... i will be riding the thruxton. i put 1000 miles on with a short trip to sturgis. unlike bob and debbie, i will not need to do sturgis again. holy crap thats alot of bikes. the last time i was at the border raid i was blown away at the beauty of canada. i so look forward to this trip. see you all saturday, theresa and chuck |

Border Raid ... I still can't go But at least I'm living in my house now. The home sale in Portland fell through, so I had to jump through some hoops to keep the home we found in Moscow. And it also meant we had to live in the motel for 2 weeks, and all our belongings stayed packed in the U-Hauls collecting late fees. It was so tight in the motel room that the rules of nature were being violated. We moved in last week, still have boxes everywhere. While eating dinner on the deck last weekend we were bombarded by yellow jackets. I told the wife that it's just part of living in the woods. But she convinced me to put up a couple of traps. Here is a trap after just one day. The universities (WSU and U of I) started last week and all the college students are back in town. These strange things showed up in one of the WSU fields after school started, not sure if those are eyes or boobs on their chest. Enjoy the Border Raid this weekend everyone! |
