BTW: Iron Pony has a used 2009 CR for sale. Price isn't great, but I'd bet they'll move off of it.

Whelp, for the first time since 2006, I am Buelless. Harley (corporate), acting through Valley HD & Buell (great people), officially stepped up to the plate and did the right thing! After AD Farrow made a mess of my Uly, Harley agreed to buy it back. They picked it up (with a check in hand) a couple days ago. I have a new level of respect for the Motor Company. This wasn't treating a customer right (I didn't buy a Harley to begin with, and I didn't buy one to replace this) this was simply treating a wronged person right.

And offered up for my local friends first, I've got a couple spares/take offs:
Uly belt: broken-in with 3000 miles, looks fine.
2009 Buell Service Manual, used, not to bad.
New version (teflon coated?!) Uly clutch cable, new.
Rear brake lever and shifter/linkage (off firebolt) used, look fine.
Used front muffler strap/clamp.
Front motor isolator, used but looks fine.
Palmer adjustable windshield brackets for the Uly, black, used but look fine.
Stebel Nautalis Air Horn; used but works fine, looks used.
I also have this lower/upper fender and fog light setup:
It's no show quality stuff, home made, cheap lights (but HID bulbs!)
Make me an offer if you're interested in anything.

Hi guys. It looks like I'll be moving kinda soon, and I'm going to have to sell the 1125CR to cover the mover costs. She's in good shape, bodywork could use a little TLC (I've been meaning to buff the scuffs, just haven't had time). She's got Pazzo shorty levers, HID headlights, FMF exhaust, PCV, integrated tail light/turn signals, new buns (<1000mi), Grandstand fuel filler cap, and probably some other stuff I am forgetting. Around 7k miles total, and I'll throw in the front and rear stands (LP). All reasonable offers to be considered. |

well Chris.... as you can tell, Things have kinda slowed WAY down around here.
There are a few Buells running around town... but they are few and far between
Everyone is waiting to see what EBR brings out.

Some of us are still around -- I'm still happily carving curves on my XB.  About to take off this Thursday for the PA "Grand Canyon" and then Finger Lakes in NY.
But I agree...I would love to see EBR street bikes back on the market soon. |

It is killing me. I loved my SX, and would have liked to get my hands on a black 1125 CR, but I have not gotten the last bit of my insurance settlement yet... and finding a CR is getting dang near impossible, let alone a black one.
At the same time, the Aprilias are looking better and better... But then, I wouldn't be a Buell Hooligan anymore.
EBR, for the love of all that is good and decent, please hurry! |

EVERYONE -- WEBSITE GOING BYE BYE
Given the downturn in activity over the past few years, I'll be dismantling the www.COBRABuell.com website soon. It doesn't cost me much but even $8/month adds up over time. And I'm not seeing any benefit in keeping it up any longer.
If anyone happens to want the domain name and the website, let me know before the end of October. I'm more than happy to transfer it to anyone who might want it.
Otherwise, I plan to take it down on or shortly after Oct 28.
Having said that, I still ride my own Buell and don't plan on ever getting rid of it at this point...although a Yamaha FJR1300 is looking like it may be parked next the canyon carver sometime next year.

Apparently there was an EBR RX at Iron Pony today! There are no definite plans of IP becoming a dealership... but the rumors are looking good!
I have no clue if the bike will be there for awhile or not. |
