Charlie, Glad to hear all is well down there! I thought about you last night as I watched Tech suffer through another disappointment. I'd be lying if I said I was pulling for them, but they did play their hearts out. Lance, Way to blow a brutha' off! Pretty cold blooded if you ask me. I'm Rick James b#tch! . Wasn't blowing you off; I was baiting you with the fat-free venison jibe. Figured I'd make a delivery out your way to get you back on the wagon and do some catchin up. Questions I need answered: Scholarship School? weight up-symptoms up? Doomsday prep level? Caged critters college fund? How's the OG Mrs Lapradd? |

Jaxson, Eight words of kindness and then wham, a kick in the groin, gotta love man. For what limited talent they have, they played great. The offensive coaches, not so much. They could have won that game with time management. That last series of downs before Fla st. got the final score, they left right at a minute on the play clock. If they had let each down run down, the game would have been history. Not to mention the called back and missed points.....I'm gonna have to buy a new football cap, this is hard on my blood pressure.LOL \ |

Charlie, I have an extra LSU cap if you need it . I agree with the clock management. This is at least the second time that it has bitten them in the ass this season. I do feel sorry for the defense though, since its bound to be disheartening to hold a team only to have your offense go three and out virtually 80-90 percent of the time. Nuts, You got questions? Well I have the answers you seek. We need to plan a get together in your heated man cave to discuss these events and allow me to see this new prized addition to the Armstrong household. I'm out and about on Monday afternoon if you are going to be around your castle. |

Jaxson, I have to agree with your accessment on VT. As for the LSU hat, thanks but I have an official LSU hat given to me by Hall of Famer, Jim Taylor a former LSU athlete. |

That's old school right there Charlie. Better not wear that hat around me or you might find yourself waking up hatless after a boink on the head, and me in the wind. |

Man cave isn't heated this season(yet), we're in hunting season neck deep this week. I leave the house by 2pm and head up the mountain, unless I choose to hunt across the street. Are we gonna do that rifle hunt this year, where I sit diligently whilst you fidget about and make mocking commentary? Cause I've got a great spot for that. NUTS |

Nuts, I appreciate the invite, but it looks like it'll be me bailing this year. I can't bring myself to watch the dispatch anymore. I wish I could explain it better, but I don't know how. It seems I've gone sensitive in the last few years. Heck, I watched The Green Mile last night and actually cried like a 3 year old. My elderly neighbor died the other day and I cried. My daughter wrote an essay about how I'm her hero and I cried. I'm gonna blame it on a hormonal imbalance because it beats the alternative of getting in touch with my feminine side . |

Jaxson, You didn't mind relishing in the though of my"dispatch" over a simple garment, not to mention trashing a long running friendship. An Ole doe eyed rack of venison ranks higher than I do? |

Yeah but Charlie, you likely earned a boink on the head somewhere along your journey in life. I was just trying to be a good friend and help you collect what was owed to ya'. Besides, I want that hat! |

I knew there would be scoundrels like you out there, so I had a Voodoo priest put a curse on it before I left there. Anyone that steals it will encounter a rotting of their smaller extremities. In your case, very small extremities. |

Fella's, still in the Turkey coma? Hopefully your eggs are hatching and your Cyclones are wheelying. Got a good morning hunt in while my brother was in town for a day. I took him up to the place on the mountain to show him what I'm always jabbering about. Got in late and within 20 mins, he says "deer on the edge there, behind the tree." To shorten the story, a 4 point sacrificed his life so my brother and I could high-5 and hug and be merry. That's 5 for the season: 3 doe with the bow and a button buck(oops) and the 4 point with the 30-06 my Pop gave me when I turned 16. In other news our daughter is getting on a schedule of sleeping 4hrs at a clip. That kid is a handful! NUTS |

Well Nuts, My comment about getting fat again might have been a bit of an exaggeration HOWEVER some nice ground without added fat would prevent me from going north of 195lbs. I gots the money to reimburse you for your efforts so hook a brutha' up man. Congrats on the 4 hour sleep stretch. Before you know it she'll be sleeping 10 hours a day, spending all your money, and bringing home boys with poorly done tribal tattoos . |

This week pretty much sucks for meeting. Lots of changes going on at the club so several meetings back to back. Long story short, Burley flipped his gourd and stirred up the ole' poop pot, so the smell is wafting throughout the facility. Yours truly has become a man of importance and I spend a lot of time at these meeting going "hmm", "I see", "I second that motion", etc.. I always knew I had greatness in me so it comes as no surprise that I am in this position of great power now |

Congrats Charlie! If you climb the highest mountain can you now see above the roof of your car ? If you ever get up this way again I'd be happy to take you on a ride through Wasena Park and down through the Town of Vinton. They got some new plate glass front windows that have me longing for Spring to finally roll around. |

Doggone Charlie! You sure you're still in SC or did you accidently get sucked into a black hole and step out in the great state of Va? I thought the mountains in your current home state consisted of pitchers mounds and fresh burial plots. |

Not in VA, but a whole lot closer. And I can definitely tell my good Charleston winter weather is slipping away. But the country roads and mountains in the background, plus the lack of traffic....did I mention NO traffic jams, no sitting at the same traffic light forever. |

All right Jaxson and Nuts, where are you guys?? Jaxson....you still playing the pacifist, while eating all the game you can get your hands on?Sad. Nuts, you got a car seat mounted in that deer blind, got that little gal all dressed out in camo, ready for bow season? Finally got to go on a ride with the Buell guys in the mountains. Little Switzerland, awesome roads, above Asheville next to the Parkway. This rainy summer sucks. Just an hour and a half and I'm in the thick of it. |

Good to hear all is well Charlie! I am officially no longer a hypocritical meat eater. I figured it was pretty pathetic to ask someone else to kill my game for me so I went vegetarian. Still eat some dairy and eggs but I get them from the co-op since they come from animals that live a free range life. It was surprisingly easy and my bowels are now working as the good Lord intended . As far as Nuts goes, we don't talk very often but it sounds like he's doing well and enjoying the excitement that comes with being a father. I'm proud of that boy! I've gotten in a ton of riding this year. I go out about 12:00am and head back in around 4:00am. It has worked out great and I enjoy the quite of the night. As an added bonus, I can sit in front of a plate glass window for as long as I want without worrying about holding up the cars behind me. |
