It's tex, I saw it at bike night last night and liked it, but I wasn't sure about getting it. After cooking in traffic (not cooking through traffic) I made up my mind and got it straight after work. It's nice, I like it. Edit: At least you drilled them too small, I broke the only drill I had that drilled a big hole smaller (Message edited by glitch on August 18, 2004) |

GLitch...My 1/2 leather 1/2 mesh Joe Rocket works really well in the heat. It took some time to get those inner mounts made. I used tray plastic (methylmethacrylate) and made them solid to drill out the middle for the screws. I underestimated the size of the screw heads. I just hope they don't break drilling them out bigger. I believe it will work if not i will have to start over. Rodi...I found were AMerican Sport Bike carries the Latus can. $399 What did you pay direct? |

B_S: I understand your boredom. The past few weeks have been less than challenging. Then Monday, my "manager" had a stroke, now it's just me supporting Coca-Cola Legal. 200+ attorney's and their crew. Jeez Louise! I'm tired and my feet hurt, at least I only have a day and a half left in this week. Are you going to the Vortex tomorrow night? Roll Call! |

Torqer....Man that's some serious disassembly. Makes me cringe to see its guts all over the table like that. Hope it all goes back together and there aren't extra screws and bolt laying about. I will not be going to the Tex tonight. I feel like crapola. (hold your nose together a read aloud and that is how I sound). Amazingly snot continues to run out my nose even though I cannot breathe. Guess I'll finish the bars and install the new fiber BLING. |

Amazingly snot continues to run out my nose even though I cannot breathe. I'm not a Dr. or anything but I am into alternative medicine and take quite a few classes on the topic and I read A freakin' LOT of books. One thing I have found is that with sinus problems they are due to climate and weather changes and the use of Air conditioning. What happens is that your sinus' get dried out allowing bacteria to grow. If you use a nasal spray such as Dristan, or anything that is a Saline solution the salt will kill the bacteria that has developed and the water will keep your sinus' moist, which will deter additional bacteria from growing. You won't instantly feel better but it will cut your sick time down considerably. For future reference if you start to feel 'tingly' sinus' or a scratchy throat start to use saline spray and you typically won't get sick. Trust me I have been doing this for quite a while and I have not been sick from anything other than bad food or a hangover in almost 3 years. The chinese use these mini 'teapot' things to flush their sinus' with sea salt water on a daily basis to maintain good health. Same concept, moisture to stop bacteria growth and salt to kill what is there. Hope you feel better |

huh..huh you said moist and tingly. No seriously, thanks for the tip. I will surely try that. Funny how I get this twice a year when it is hot-cold and cold-hot. Who says the BadWeb is all about Buells. |

Torquer- I went to dinner with some of the HOG members after the meeting and they were all very interested except Prichett, of course. I'm sure you'll get some more volunteers. Joy said that she was going to check to see if she could help. At the next meeting we can hit them up again, it'll be a bit closer and we might get some more help. The guys I spoke to are excited to see burnouts and the pocket bikes. If we can get stunt riders the HOG guys will be there to see that. Steve Hall has been considering buying a Buell, this might just be what pushes him over the edge. Most of the HOG guys didn't even know we had a Buell group and were very impressed. |
