What waist size? Thanks to everyone that put this together. Drew, you may have a closet full of rain gear but you really should have one on the bike. Good lunch spot, too bad we can't get the rest of the guys there. Dave, thank Patrick for pulling my name out of the hood. He's a natural tagger , too. He got the sticker AND the picture. This was a great weekend, well at least up to Sunday afternoon. I love how the weather reports said rain starting about 1PM and we got dumped on 15 minutes after leaving the FWH. Kind of feel sorry for all the people that were just arriving for the week. Can you believe there were people out there fishing in this weather? We found a great road just south of Glens Falls that follows the river, would have been better with the sun out. Would make a good alternate after lunch route to the lake for next year. Mark, this one's for you:
I am sorry but 95% of the pics I took are shyte can't even see any of em. I am still charged up!!! George glad you made it home safe. Mike called me last night I don't think he got home till 8 we rode from FWH across to 30 and down to Margretville across 28 through the catskills and the clouds!!! into Wurtsboro I went to Jersey he headed for the Island, what a weekend and snow on whiteface!!!!!! stickers O'plenty
Hate to say, but the worse part of my ride home was the blinding sunshine as I would round a bend. Oh, and the annoying scenery as I crossed the bridge back into VT. Early to bed, early to rise, gets a Bueller home happy, tired, but dry.
Great weekend. Long ride home. Rain would not have been that bad if there was not 12 miles of traffic to get over the bridges. I have to stop riding off the island. Need to put the bike on the truck and find a place in NJ to park it and ride from there. If I am going to sit in traffic getting back to LI it might as well be in my truck.
You missed the open face breakfast sandwiches at the pancake house! And the hashbrowns, Dave couldn't resist trying them after seeing me make a face after taking a bite.
Well, the radar showed nothing but it was rain all the way home for me as well. Can't complain, only an hour away... and then I proceeded to barf again when I walked in the house. Must have been something in the beer... yeah, that's it...
Way bummed that missed breakfast, but I was busy being curled up in a ball in the shower rocking back and forth hoping I'd feel better - haha! I guess I'm not as young as I used to be...
