Sorry all, I will not be able to Run The RidgeI have too many activities for Sep. and early Oct. and not enought time or budget for all. Pete, sucks your bike is down! I hope they get it fixed for you in a hurry. I also am getting ready for my 5k service and was wondering if I could get a couple items done at the dealer, also I will need to bring it in to have my detonation checked, been using rocket fuel and yesterday it started pinging again, possibly the timing is off and if it is is that a warranty item? Will be in touch, Oh yeah, my neighbor has not givin me a difinitive price, he said "I'll hook a brother up". I will be talking to him tonight again. Good day all. |

New12r, do the service yourself, check everything change the oil and tranny fluid, the only thing you need the techs to do for you is the TPS reset and timing. Since those are adjustments, they're not under warranty, unless something is broken causing the bike not to stay in time. |

ok....back in the real world. Had to step out and take care of some family matters. Torqer...hope your bike gets fixed before Thursday and it is not too serious. Its also funny how your past is never as far back as you might think. I did finally buy some bars. They are the Azonic CR Low and were half price at Cycle gear for $30 They are the lowest rise I have seen around. I will try and install them tonight and have on for Thursday. I am also going to try the pully guard for the 2nd time and try and make it work. Rodi...looks like it might be hard to get one of those Latus Pipes? Glitch..I might be calling you if I run into a snag during the installation. |

Sure, I'll be glad to help. Good to have you back in the "real" world. I don't think Latus is selling them any more. I would like to come up with a 3%er's pipe. I have some ideas. Anyone going to bike night tonight? |

Maybe we can work out some bartering and I will do some carbon work for a "Glitch concept performance pipe". No bike night for me. |

I have hit a dead end on the Transparent Surlyn. I received a list of suppliers from Dupont. Called all these guys and all they have is plastic for packaging food, colored sandwich bags and sealing film. Nothing with thick vacuum formable plastic. Don't know where to go from here to find some. I know it is out there!! |

Well we don't have to use surlyn. There's sheet polyester that's just as tough, scratch resistant, and lighter. Only down side is it's not as thick. |

It was very late last night when I finished so I didn't actually ride. Just sitting on it though, it is much more aggressive. The rise is about 2 1/2" lower I'm guessing. ?...my front brake line is now in a tighter s curve than before. Is that ok? Here is the pully cover I just finished. I still have to bond on the mounting stalks on the back and drill holes for the screws.

I know I posted this morning, oh well, the 12 is down for the count, no start, not even a little. I found the relay to be on the fritz and now it wont even work while being held. Will not be attending the vortex again this week, sorry. I will be looking forward to next. while the bike is down it is getting a cleaning(long overdue), some misc. mods, and a 5k so I will be ready for whatever. Shred, the ride was great! I know two up can be a challenge, i just happen to have a crazy passenger. When I got home last night the bike died on the patio and would not restart(at least I made it home), fiddling with the relay I got it running but would not stay running. I guess this is my hint to do some chores around the house. B_S, nice bars, I hope you try them out soon. Torqer, my fingers are crossed, I wish you the best of luck on your bike. If you could check to see if you have a starter relay in stock, if not you may want to order one. I will be up Thursday to drop off the bike and watch everyone leave for the Vortex. I have an app. on friday. |

New12r, ya may just want to check where you work for a relay, if I'm not mistaken, it's an automotive relay. |
