Hey Dave- As usual I'm always late on getting in on these.... Still trying to figure if I can make this one! I would love to! Should have it locked down this week. I did want to offer up a $25 HD gift card - not dealer specific. Let me know how to get that to you - ESP in case I can't make an appearance! Doug |

OK DOZ from njbuellowners.com (nj events, adkrally) will be running out of Conn. Check the site to see time and place and Mark xl1200r from allseasonrider.com will be running from the capital area. If your coming from Jersey NYC area and eastern PA our meeting point is Ross corner Augusta NJ. It's about 50 min outa NYC 1 hr from mid Jersey and 50 min from eastern PA. Then it's a marathon to the Rally!!!!!!!http://www.chatterboxdrivein.com/ is the website for the meeting spot. As always it's a ride your own ride event it's not a race keep your bullies in your trousers please. I recommend atgatt but to each there own. I am really starting to look forward to the event!!!! |

I have the website updated with the info we have available. If you are leading a ride to the rally, please double check the details and links and let me know if corrections need to be made (I'm not certain on the Hudson Valley meeting point, so if someone could verify the map I provided that'd be great). http://www.allseasonrider.com/adk-buell-rally.html For people wanting to follow me up from the Albany and surrounding area, we are going to meet at the Country Drive In in Clifton Park at 1:00 pm (about 20 minutes north of Albany and 45 minutes from Lake George. I won't have a specific ride planned to get there, so we can hang out and BS for a while and just meander our way up whenever everyone feels like. If enough people say they'll come but want to wait until after work, I'll bump the time to later in the day but being so close to Lake George I'm expecting most will just be happy to ride up on their own. I have not been able to secure places for dinner yet - getting a hold of these joints is proving difficult, so we may just have to take our chances and just convene in a bar or something after dinner. I will post more if I can work anything out for us. |

Went over Rt 17 last weekend. Pretty much unrideable at more than a very cautious pace. I might be able to hit some of the other mountain roads this weekend, but it's snowing this morning, so maybe not. |

Think way north and east, Rt 17 in Vermont. I probably won't hit any other mountains this weekend, more cold and snow, but I'd suggest that they are mostly just a scenic ride now and not great bunches of corners. |

Well riders everything is in place and set for a great time in the mountains. Departure from NJ if you want to ride up with me is 10am Friday from Chatterbox the ride planned route is up on hd rideplanner. The ride up is a slow easy pace ride your own ride as always. I will ride past rt6 and mountain road to see if anyone is there from Hudson Valley and Port Jervis area at 10:45/1100 if anyone is interested in going up. Sean will not be going he has work. I will be meeting up with George and some of the Kingston area folks at lunch in munter mountain around 1 I would think. I plan on meeting up with Dave DRM1125r up state. We should be in lake George by 6pm and have a meet and greet at 8:30 at http://www.kingneptunespub.com/ We will have dinner there Sat night where the free raffle will go off. We will have 2 $25 gas cards to give away ( i used the home depot one) and cycle gear is to far for me to pick up the $25 card so BP gas cards will have to do. 1 Rally t-shirt and Advantage Cycle (puzzled) is gonna try to send some stuff if we can meet up before this thing goes off. And of course someone will take home the Banner!!!!!!!!! Any questions? |

I'm in the process of making Route Sheets for all but the VT ride on my website: www.allseasonrider.com . These will just be based on the google maps directions but should be just fine. Would people be interested in getting GPS files for these? I can make the routes easy enough and I think I can export them (somehow) and upload to the website for people to put onto their own GPS. But I've never done it before, so... |

Found this free program called TYRE. It works with Google maps with downloading routes to a GPS. I have been playing with it and hope to test this weekend. He has a great youtube showing how to do it. Pretty simple. Here is the link for the Vid, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOBjKxrmbf8 |

That's a neat little program! Lots of steps but looks simple and logical to use. Might be worth using on a complicated route, but I've gotten pretty good at just soing routes directly on my Zumo and bypassing the computer altogether. |
