My left fork is leaking a bit. Does anyone have any shop recommendations? I was going to try Zen Moto, in Mesa, but they said they couldn't do it. I would prefer a shop in the east valley. Thanks in advance. The bike is a 2007 XB12Scg. (Message edited by jonzin on April 10, 2012) | ||

It's Jeremy not Jason. Yeah bring it in. All the main guys there have raced motorcycles and there main clients are sportbikes so they know suspension and setup. | ||

Only a month away now: SpringFast 2012 is only a couple months away, one whole row of cabins are set aside just for us! Friday, May 18th, ride up to Alpine, AZ. Taking the route of your choice. Saturday May 19th, ride down legendary Hwy 191 to Morenci for lunch, and then back up HWY 191 again. Dinner will be in Alpine at the café. Sunday, May 20th, head back home. Breakfast, and dinner will be at the café in Alpine. The Lodge does have an attached bar and patio. I cannot attend the group each Tuesday, but fun to head over and try out the different restaurants in town. this group loves to eat. this week, was a restaurant in scottsdale, pretty good. cheap appetizers before 7 pm. then over to the road house. a confederate was there this week, along with the usual bikes. I officially sold the CR, so i can set up a time to bring over the Bug and get the timing belt and the water pump work done. maybe next week? The m2 is running very good. perfect weather. I would love to put an 1125/ 1190 motor in a tube frame. you can pick up the motors fairly cheap. under 2,000 dollars. you would need a good welder and frame person to figure out the correct mounting of the motor, and the water cooling of it. since it is counter balanced, you might not need the normal isolators. it would sure lighten up the tube frame model, from the air cooled to the water cooled motor. Yeah Rex i noticed that your bike was no longer on AZSBK web site. Glad you got it sold. I was really interested just didnt want to put it all on my wife to take care of since im still not home. Hope to see you guys in June. Gonna be hot but im still going to ride as much as possible. I will need it after working nearly 8 months straight in Iraq. | ||

Yeah i still have it. Gonna sell it and get her a Can-am and me another bike. Either one i can ride and take to the track or just a track only bike. Ted Rich (AZ track days) has a new web site and has a few of his track bikes for sale. So i will check those out when i get home. We will get together in June or there after if your still interested by then. | ||

Nice Nick, Any one have an idea where i can get some "custom" work done? I am looking for belly pan to go with my side fairings. then probably a painter to get them matched white and maybe even some cool EBR inspired graphics. I will probably replace the left case cover and put carbon cover/sliders on. I also wouldnt mind looking into frame sliders like you have Nick. Any way fairly small list but i know i do not want to go to Arrowhead so im open to suggestions. Thanks Tim | ||

We are ready to go too! Lisette and I will be two up on the Concours for all three days this trip. That means a much more brisk pace on Friday and Sunday. WooHoo! Has anyone set up a meetup time & place yet for the AZ riders? I was thinking of doing the Hwy 87 to Payson route. Or maybe take I-17 to Camp Verde then on to Payson. Anyone have any other ideas? | ||
