Here is an outline of things to think about in preparation for our meeting this week. I think we should focus on the "Rider Appreciation Day" portion at this point for time's sake.

Rebecca put this together for us.
Much Thanks. It gives us a foundation to build upon. Everyone please get some thoughts together.

As for a meeting place I like Dave's place so he does not have to miss out. Or we could do it at the Tex and do a conference call with Dave via cell phone.

Rider Appreciation Day

Broome Building or the Dealership parking lot
Both? Have the battletrax and ‘games’ in the back parking lot of the Broome building?
Have the band and Vendors at the dealership parking lot?

*How would Stone Mtn feel about including some of the ‘Sport bike shops in sponsorship and or door prizes?
This would help with drawing a crowd and isn’t really stepping on SMHD toes, cuz it is a totally different customer base.

How do we get pledges? Just sign-up fee?
(HOG does a $35 fee for such things, per person and gives a T-shirt and a pin)
What would we ‘give’ to commemorate the event? Anything?

Where will we ride?
Can we get police escorts like the Harley Group?- Yes That would draw a lot of bikes, how many sport bike events get a police escort and get to run lights? They would eat it up and love it.

Finance exam 2morrow and Calculus on Wednesday. If I pass, I am finished!

I'm fine with throwing around ideas on Thursday at the Vortex, but I don't want to get into anything too serious without the presence of Glitch.

If you have some spare time, generate and parts and price list for the triple-clamp conversion, including the black cityX levers.
Also, I am in desperate need of tires. I am gonna roll with the Diablos. Would the service department mount, balance and install them for me? Or would I be better off taking them someplace else?

I almost got taken out by an idiot in a cage 2night!!!
I was coming around a corner on my way into downtown to get something to eat and some jack @ss just decided to move on into my lane.
I got a fistful of ZTL and broke the back loose but kept the shiny side up.
I gave him a Joe Rocket middle finger salute in his rear view and then got up beside him at the next light and said, "you almost killed me back there man"!
His reply, "that's just how 5hits gonna be sometime man, fcuk it"!
So I shook my head let him hear the V-twin and continued on with my heart about to jump outta my chest.
A few blocks down the road as I was pulling into a parking spot, he pulled up behind me and said, "man I'm sorry, I did'nt mean to take my bad day out on you"!

WTF is that? You gonna by me some new underwear?
