Oh I'm SURE it sounds good . I still say out of all the IL4's I've heard I like the sound of my 82 Honda CB750F SS w/ de-baffled Kerker 4 to 1 header and four K&N's the best , especially around 10K in fifth. |

The Mille and Tuono aren't IL4's...they are 60 degree v-twins! M1, I'm surprised you didn't know that. It's that Rotax V-Twin that is supposedly bullet proof and very powerful. And yes Bart, your bike is VERY pissed off! That's a very good thing. Mine on the other had is just irritated. I really need to make it more like yours.

So then what is Murrea's? A Bull with its balls soaked in Tiger Balm? And M1, you met Kobe and his Mille...remember the bike that had the shredding tire in Prescott? heh... |

Talk about shredding a tire! I had to put that spare you gave me on today so I could make the trip to Ontario. How was the trip home? Did the little Toyota that could make it OK? I'm developing my pics now. I'll have them posted next week when I get back K. |

Yeah, that tire took trip to San Diego and back before going up to Prescott. The Diablo's are great, but when they get low on tread they go awful quick. The stock pipe on the Tuono/Mille is a boat anchor. I've got the one from RSC and it's got a good balance between loud and low. Tigcraft makes a race pipe with an 80mm outlet. That one friggin BOOMS! I still miss the sound of my M2 with the Force pipe though. I took a trip to Flagstaf today on business. Driving through the curves I kept making vroom vroom noises. I think my boss thinks I'm crazy. We need to plan another trip to the mountains again. Soon. When is the Taos (spelling?) New Mexico ride happening? |

Maybe a Northwest AZ run is in order...up to M1's neck of the woods. Prescott, Sedona, Flaggstaff...what's up that way anyways? |

Wickenberg to Baghdad to Prescott to Jerome to Sedona to Flag. Is there a way other than 17 to get to Payson from Flag? I'm meeting some dudes Sunday up near "The Potter's House" at 10. We're going to head over to Strawberry. I was pulling out of In&out (I pulled in just before that... ) and a guy hollered at me and invited me. I assume they'll be the younger crowd (well, a couple years younger than me I guess) so I'll just ride my own ride and see how much guff I take for riding a Buell . edited by M1Combat on July 23, 2004 |

M1, We usually skip Flag. and go across 260 from Prescott to Payson then back to Fountain Hills. Makes for a very long day. I think you can cut from Flag. to Payson on 487 past Mormon lake. Unless that road is not paved. |

Well-I did it! I took the S-2 into the shop and had them put in a whole new top end. It showed 50lbs on the leak-down test instead of the recommended 80lbs. They pulled it apart and said I needed new rings. Soooo-I had them bore it .020 over, put in higher compression pistons, new rings and valve job. Should be real nice when I get it back next week. Can't wait.As a matter of factly, I couldn't wait. Because of TuconsXB9 and Warp2 prodding me(hehehehehe) to get something so I could keep up-I went and bought a "Tuono"! I'm still keeping the S-2 and maybe the X1. I'll have it next week. I'll keep you posted. |

LOL, Italian Stallion. Congrats AL, can't wait to se her... Had a great time up in the inland empire. Stay away from Quaid HD! That place turned me off. All due to one employee but still, they'll never see me again! Let's just say I probably found the person/reason they can't/won't sell Buells. Gawd I hate that! Anywho, I'll be up in Phoenix late Friday evening about 8. JWZ, you or anyone else up for a late dinner? maybe a beer? I've got a friends birthday to attend on Saturday in Glendale, maybe I can make a short run with you guys on that ride Saturday morning, before I have to be back... Keep me posted. |

Hey Guys, Back from Nevada, and Utah. What Buelltiful sights to see! Great roads. I'm planning on going back up there next month... I met Ferris and Alex and the gang in Las Vegas on Friday. We rode up to Mt Zion Natl Park in Utah and spent the night. The next day, most of the Cali crowd headed back, and the rest of us pushed on through some of the most spectacular National Parks I've ever seen. The weather was great, even the hail felt good! LOL. I dreaded coming back to the Valley of the Sun, it was so nice up there. Alex pushed on, continueing his ride across America for Cancer. You can see the pics here: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=6817&post=291013#POST 291013 AL, congrats on yet another bike purchase. With so many different bikes in your stable, I guess your just a plain old bikewhore!!! Keep it up and you'll catch up to me. Hurry up and get it broke in so we can go and terrorize some mt roads! Charlie, I'm working Friday night, (last day with this company) but will be available on Saturday. drop me an email and i'll give you my cell #. |

"Probably". My Girlfriend and her son are doing their birthday thing (they both have the same birthday) so I'll have to see what we are doing and see if it fits into the schedule. If I can I certainly will though . |

Guys, I regret to say that I will be in Phoenix this weekend but not for the ride. A dear friend of mine, like a mother to me, collapsed on her porch last night. She was med evaced to St. Josephs where we learned she had a brain tumor. They immediately operated and removed it but she's still in ICU. Pray for her recovery please. We'll get together some other time, promise. Thanks guys... |
