I'm working on getting dinners set up - unfortunately, it's going to be rather difficult not knowing how many people to expect. I don't know the best way to go about trying to get a guest list going since it seems we've got a number of websites this is going through. Dave - could you be in charge of trying to get a headcount from all the places you've put this out? I think you're more or less on top of that, but I know you mentioned to me that Jaimec was mentioning it to his riding group and I don't know how many extras we should expect from that. |

I'll try but having done this before with the Catskill ramble I would just make sure the restaraunt can acomadate a large number of people I'd say up to 30 and we may have to be flexible as far as times I mean perhaps 8pm instead of 7 kind of thing. The waterfront joints are perhaps the best bet cause they are multi floor and adjoining so overflow can go next door. |

Drm1125, I'm a little north of you if I end up going we can join up. Heck, for a chance to rip up Rt 10 I'd be willing meet you down there. My problem is I won't know if I will have the time yet. |

"Why Lake George you ask? " Nice video, but I don't think of quiet relaxation in Lake George. Probably the busiest village within the Blue Line and the atmosphere of a Atlantic Ocean beach town. Still a good place to gather for eats and stories......as long as it's NOT during Americade. |

I am going to check with the owner and see if I can make it that weekend. Not sure if I will stay over, or just go ride with you all on saturday, and then head back home. |

Has anyone posted this rally on ADV Rider? Not that I'm aware of, and I don't think that would be the best idea - unless Dave wants to correct me. Two things come to mind: 1) While this is open to all makes, it is first a foremost a Buell gathering, so advertising on non-Buell specific boards seems off to me. 2) The size crowd we're expecting at this point is about as big as I personally feel comfortable handling. If we get much bigger, we're going to have to start booking banquet rooms and such and then we have to start charging people to come and that racket and I'd rather avoid the hassle in that. |

That makes sense to me. Was not sure on what head count you guys might be expecting. Non Buell riding Friend coming up with me brought it up. |

We have a lot saying they are going but who really knows. I don't care who comes but like Mark said we just aren't geared up for HUGE but i can't stop anybody from doing what they do it's all good. I knnow we don't have all that much to raffle off or give away. The rides are pick what you want and go so I don't care bout that. I mean if they come they come. This is a good problem to have but if we could just hold off a bit till I have a pow wow with some folks and I'll get back on that. |

Ok so the best I can figure with 70 days to go there are 30 confirmed plus some others on the fence some that will be in the area and stopping by for dinner as well. Remember all are welcome so non Buell is no biggie!!! I expect the number to grow a bit but we will see.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

60 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!! OK so here is what I am figuring I think we got enough people going so I for 1 am done pimping it. I need to concentrate on other things right now. I have some stuff that was donated that we will give tickets away for and have a free raffle at dinner Sat. night. It's not much it's a $25 Home depot card I am supposed to get a $25 cycle gear card I got a $25 tramontin H-D card but I don't know if it's still good. I think it's only good for that H-D though so it's probably out. I got some stuff from other people nothing much but it's something. I also will have the banner to raffle off in the same manner. The rides will be pick it and ride it just do your own thing and ride your own ride. I am gonna get some t- shirts made and sell em at cost I don't have a lot of cash so I'll only get a dozen so when they are gone they are gone. Hope that sounds good to you guys!!! I'll see you in 60. |

I know a great place for lunch if your coming from south or east of NY on I90. Jumpin Jacks 5 Schonowee Avenue Scotia, NY 12302. old school burger joint not far out of the way. Good food and my XB12X out back. PS. the google sky view is from just after the hurricane the street view is closer to what it looks like now, after lots of work. |
