Not Buell related, but 3 of the 4 riders are/were Buellers on our ride yesterday, so I'm posting some pictures here anyway! The Group: Shawn: Shawn Roosting: Thinking long and hard: He made the right choice! Shawn: Bill: George: Shawn: Bill: ME! Their "Long Way Around" picture:

Hey guys, haven't been around in a while. I broke my leg pretty badly back in November and just started walking on it again Monday. Of course the first thing I did was wheel the uly out of the basement and bang some gears. It seems awfully crazy riding in the middle of winter comfortably in jeans! |

It has been too long. I am on "leave without pay" status because of my right hand. I am expecting a settlement check soon, and I unfortunately sold Samantha ('05 XB9Sx) back in July. Ugh... But I am going to be looking for a black 1125CR when I get my settlement check. Before I hit the classifieds, does anyone here in COBRA have any leads on a decent one? |

yeah it's still there as far as i know. fyi they gave me $5k trade for it so i bet $5,500 would buy it easily. they didn't really want it i think lol. it's real clean i took great care of it & still has factory warranty till july. oh and it has a brand new stator but it's red. and with high bar kit |

Hmmm... A lobster you say? Well, I will take a look if they still have it when I get my settlement check. Definitely worth a look. It is either an 1125CR or a 2010 or newer Z1000. Since I live half a mile from Mid-Ohio Hon,Yam,Kaw,Suz the ease of parts for a Jap bike is tempting as well. |

Also, the idea of trying to stay with COBRA on a Kawasaki hurts my head. Would you awesome guys even allow me to stay in COBRA if I rode a Kawasaki? Honest question... |

Lol! Look up through the last couple pages of posts on here! Seems almost everyone is adding or trading bikes. You'll be welcome around here as long you like...... Assuming owning a jap bike doesn't turn you into a shorts n sandles wearing squidly idiot rider. |

Dennis C, unfortunately, this money was wanted 8 years ago, needed 3 years ago, and now is critical to me and my family. So, there won't be THAT much to get an EBR bike. (If EBR comes out with an upright streetfighter bike... well... I may have to go back to my old ninja ways to get my hands on one) Anyway, I am already missing pieces and parts, so I subscribe to the ATGATT riding philosophy. (Could I rock the COBRA logo on a Kawasaki?) |

Hey local Columbus adult beverage drinkers... This Saturday I'm having a bit of a Birthday party, and we'll end up at my favorite local bar. They're having the Philip Fox Band live from 10pm-2am. We'll be there from about 1030p on. The band is country-rock, and I was pretty impressed last time I saw them. Drinks are pretty cheap ($2.25 Yuengling drafts), and the atmosphere is usually good; not too busy, not too loud. Jay's Sports Lounge 3475 Sullivant Avenue, Columbus, OH 43204 (Shares a parking lot with Key Bank! You can't see the bar from Sullivant, but you can see Key Bank, just pull in there, then you'll see the place) Saturday Feb. 11 Roughly 10:30p - 2:00a Come on by and I'll buy you a drink! |

Well ya'll missed a great night on Saturday! The band was great, and drinks were cheap! Plus, without even our asking, they had the Supercross races on the bigscreen! Ended up being about 8 of us. Some friends of mine, and some folks from AdvRider. When I have my moto-cookout this spring, there better be a more respectable COBRA showing! |

I've only gone to the 'trails' once; Hidden Springs ATV Ranch in Springfield. Had a BLAST! I did things I never thought possible on a bike. The rest of the time we just go exploring abandon roads in the Southeastern (Tar Hallow/Hocking Hills) general direction. Northeast (Mohican) area is good too. We'll keep in touch! |

Tar hallow is a good bit closer than Mohican so that's where I've been spending a lot of time. Like this afternoon for example: Notice the gps says I'm on a road! I took George a couple weeks ago. He's currently running street tires on his KLR, and he struggled in a few spots. Nothing major. It was much wetter today though! |
