I have an 11:30 DR. appointment on Monday. I wonder if he thought about the holiday when he scheduled me. Reminds me that New Years is Sunday though. I have an 11 am Church service. I will be there before 10 to meet and greet. My wife being the truly wonderful woman she is says I should buy another bike, my S3 is out for a while with an unknown engine issue. The shop I hold responsible will not admit it and wants to swap out my engine instead. Thanks to Bart for getting me in touch with a former Buell tech in Phoenix that will fix it for me, I will be taking her up to him next week. Now I am in the market for an used bike, I'm thinking xb12r, s or scg, 2004-2005 in the 4k price range. Any ideas or advice? He was up and moving but bike scuffed up. Back through in February or maybe later this month (can't tell yet). Enjoy the weather. I have not changed anything since the last emissions test, so I'm not sure what's up. Here's what the sheet shows - Hydrocarbons in PPM, 2499 (1st reading), 1290 (Precondition Reading), 500 (Precondition Standard), 2434 (Final), 1800 (Idle Standard) CO in %, 7.48 1st reading), 8.19 (Precondition Reading), 5.00 (Precondition Standard), 7.68 (Final), 5.50 (Idle Standard) I took the carb off and the jet sizes are 195 and 52. I have to take my older Buells over to Chandler Custom Cycles. They put them on their tester. The work on them till they are in range, then I ride them up to the emissions testing and then drive the bike back for re adjusting. the funny thing. they have to take all of the plates out of the supertrap exhaust and run it wide open, and adjust the jets. the bikes pop, crack, and seem to barely run, but they pass with flying colors. then I bring them back, they put the exhaust plates back on, adjust the bike where it idles, and I go another year. the mikuni is easier to adust than the Buell carb on the S2.   Ljm Posted on Saturday, January 07, 2012 - 03:58 pm:        Art, You are going to like the tech that Bart recommended.
