Dave, I have heard you have installed the Sportgear from Johnson Ind. and was wanting to know your thoughts on it? I could not seem to find any articles with an install in a Buell/Sporty and thought maybe first hand you could enlighten us. Thanks again, Ryan

Hey Ralph, I got my Colorado pics from '01 &'02 on a slide show. Now you need to step up to the plate and set up a chili feed (I'll bring my specialty). By the way, are you good enough on the guitar yet to give lessons? My daughter is interested. |

Rippin, I have not personally installed the gears. I have seen them and they look very nice, high quality. You can get in touch with Paul Johnson, the guy that makes them at twistgear@juno.com Dave |

Nope nothing else to read into. Just wondering if anybody in the "Iowa Corn Mafia" knew what the scoop was on pheasant hunting. My brother-in-law and I are interested in heading down that way next fall. |

Hey Blastin, I'm from Arizona and I go almost yearly to Iowa pheasant hunting. Last October I had the prividge of meeting Big Buell Dave in Waterloo when I was back there pheasant hunting. Our group shot 17 birds the first morning out. The pheasants are good in the areas from Marshalltown area (North of Marshalltown) up to around Hampton(West of Hampton). South Dakota is also an excellent area to hunt. But their season is from noon to 4:00pm to hunt. Iowa is from 8:00 to 4:30 or sundown. It's cheaper to hunt in Iowa for out of state license. Dave said he'd like to hunt with me this coming year. Since he lives there He might know a few Farmers. Waterloo would be a good place to hunt if there are pheasants around there, cause theres some topless bars there. DesMoines is good for that also, for the night life hunting. Good Luck Hunting! |

Yeah, we can go hunting next fall. I've got land to hunt a dog a truck, everything we'll need. For the strippers you will be on your own though. I prefer not to have my stuff burning in a pile in the front yard when I get home! Oh, and it's "IOWA FARM MAFIA" Ride to the edge! Dave Iowa HD/Buell (Buell Cycle Center) |

Blastin...Hit the local 4H Clubs and rent an FFA jacket from some kid. You could be from NYC and there would be very few farmers in Iowa that would refuse to let you hunt their land. LOL |
