fyi. The agenda for the ASBN meeting in Northern Cal. fyi. REX December 5th Anniversary night ASBN agenda. 4-6 pm. Meeting room set up. Dick's Restaurant. 6-6:30 pm. People arrive and are greeted. 6:30 pm. Welcome to all attendees. THE WOZ. Greetings to all, and thanks for 13 years of success in the Bay Area, starting on our 14th year. ASBN history, etc. Recognize new people at the meeting, and also some old friends that have made it back for the Anniversary night. 6:45 pm. Special guests for tonight. Donnie Schmidt from Parts Unlimited and Misty Johnson from Dunlop Tires. 7:10 pm. Words from the members, etc. 7:15 pm. Special awards and presentations. Woz, Jon, Rex, Jim, Alan, Jack, Bill to present. 7:30 pm. Updates for 2012. Starting our 14th year. We will be meeting the first Monday of each month, here at Dick's. -January -February -March -April. Flat Track Night -May. Quail Report -June -July -August -September -October -November -December. Jacob, after you guys left the afternoon sessions were AWESOME!! Track dried up and warmed up and made for a good time!! Lots of crashes thou in all the different groups. I'll have some more pis up later. | ||

Okay, I need some advice from you fellow buellers, the shop I use recently replaced a leaking rear cylinder exhaust gasket, they did not torque the header bolts tight and they worked off, it happened at night as I was coming home from work. I called them and they picked up the bike, apologized and fixed it at no cost. When I picked it up there was a "noise" new to me, and I took it back to them a few days later. The tech said it sounded top end and to see if it got louder as I rode it. The next day as I rode home from work again the noise got noticeably louder and the vibrations got worse. I took it back to the shop and they now say it needs top/bottom end work. They recently moved locations and do not answer there phone, I had to personally go into the shop to get any information. So far they don't even know for sure what it needs as they haven't actually worked on the bike yet, this is all from listening to it run. I am not sure how much I can now trust them, also, how much should this cost me and how much are they responcible for? Any other shop in Tucson I should use instead? BTW it is Bikers Bay in Tucson. Any Buellers thinking of riding up Tortilla Flat on new years day? Looks like most groups are doing a late start meeting up around 9 - 10 and then riding up to the restaurant for the big "bike show". Maybe if we have any members interested we could all meet up and ride up as a group? Will be a busy day up there so won't be too sporty. Just a scenic ride up to check out all the cool bikes. | ||

New years day I think we should join the ride from South West Rides. Meet up is by 10am at the Chevron gas station on Idaho Rd just off the US60. I'm still only about 70% sure I can make the new years day ride so I figure if it's part of a bigger ride it's not a big deal if some folks party too hard to make it.
