Now that's the Jaxson I know and love...as for Billy's bike, it's gonna need a lot of rawhide to pull that off. |

I wonder if Nuts froze his acorns off? Its about 50 degress, cloudy, windy, and occassional misty rain. Add in building up a lather when riding hard and the boy is prolly in the woods somewhere frozen solid like a popsicle. The kid has been known to sweat profusely . Did you score any goodies for your B-day? I bet you made out like a bandit. |

Id rather have it 50 than 90, I can always find a coat when I'm through. Not much in the "goodies" dept. this year.Grand kids gave me a metal sign to hang over the shop door"Pop's Garage"what I needed was a lock to keep them out of my tools. |

Well, the grandkids taking your tools gives you an excuse to buy more! Now that they have a sign they know exactly where their kept too . |

Alive and unharmed. Ultra fast course that included a banked oval, double jumps, log crossings, tire hazard, mud bogs, pine forests and rocky downhills. What a blast! Bike ran pretty good after I got the plug wire I pulled off the cap re-attatched. I was sharting myself there for a minute. Pretty good cheering section with Seth, Tim and Todd in attendance. There's photo proof somewhere and I'll post or link it when it arises. Oh yeah, it was cold; like 40 degrees before the 30mph wind. I wore a windproof layer under my vest and didn't feel hot once! Fast course and I didn't have any spectacular bails; just a few "oops I'm on the grounds." That banked, dirt oval in 5th gear was rather interesting. NUTS |

Those high speed banked ovals is what causes those star shaped impressions on your seat cover. |

Dude, a few points for you to consider. : Calling only when you want financial/bike advice(that you don't take anyway) :flake/bail consistency :general self centered-ness Friendship is comprised of give and take. I am grateful for all the skills/lessons you have given me, but lately brother... there's been an imbalance. NUTS |

Whew man! I have been given a thorough tongue lashing. I still love ya' like a brother though . I shall address your points of contention so we can move forward and maybe get a better understanding of how we got to such a lowly state. 1. I did try to follow your advice and was told that he no longer involved himself with these matters and it ultimately was up to the sales manager. I guess I should have elaborated on that. 2. Unfortunately my illness does cause me to have to bail on things more than I would like. I know sometimes its easy to lose sight of the fact that I have limitations but thats the thing. Unless I am careful to control what I am exposed to I have serious consequences to pay. I know sometimes it comes across as flaky but many times I simply bail with an excuse instead of throwing out the illness card because its a little embarrasing. 3. Not sure how to address this one. I left you alone during the time you were trying to refocus on matters close to home and the next thing I know you've been on many an adventure with everyone but me and I sorta felt slighted myself. It seemed every time I called you never answered or was too busy for leisure activities so I simply gave up. In hindsight I should have kept bugging you. 4. I would have (and still would since I am now pretty buff ) give you the shirt off my back if you needed it. I think we've learned a lot from one another, shared some crazy good laughs, and hopefully we'll get a chance to do it again my good buddy . |

Torts, If you want to discuss this further call me sometime during daylight. Charlie, it ain't always easy having pal's. As an aside: I went bowhunting Monday; missed a spike at 35yds and had 3 black bears within 25yds of my stand. So I spent a bit of time practicing with the stick and string yesterday evening. |

Nuts, A friendship worth having always takes a lot of work.On our worst day we wouldn't want to walk in his shoes.........And I'm not even gonna mention the spandex. |

I hope Torts is riding in his spandex. Walking down 9th street in that getup could be dangerous. I'm always up for the effort Charlie but sometimes it sure is tough. Though my gratitude continues...I passed along a lesson taught to me (by our very own repto-amphibio zealot) just today. |

Its all good Charlie. We have an occassional disagreement but I foresee us being back to normal very soon. I may even give him a hug despite his hairy back, although I'm likely to vomit in my mouth just a little, but I am willing to make the sacrifice. Nuts, I shall give you a call tomorrow afternoon hopefully before 7:00pm. Weather looks good if you wanna take that big Kaboom out for a leisurely ride Friday. Oh and whats this about missing a spike? Need I remind you of the SPECTACULAR shot I made on a little deer not too many years ago. Had to have been at least a 60-70 yard shot too . Got to take the Blackline out for almost a hundred miles today. felt good but damn it is quiet. I feel the need for a set of Rush slip ons before next riding season. I didn't make the promise of no mods on this one so I already have a game plan and a list totaling approximately $5000.00. Can't wait for tax season boys!!!

See how it is Charlie? I offer an invitation to ride on the forum, no reply. I anticipate a phone call saying "sure lets go riding", yet my phone no rings. The truth is becoming evident . Anyways, as per usual I must post the obligatory photo of me trying to look tough with my bike. Please note that those are size 32 pants and a loose medium T-shirt . Oh, I got me a set of Rizoma circuit mirrors on the way. The bolt on fiasco has officially kicked off! Contrast cut grips and pegs will be the order of the day next time the wife gets paid. |

I passed a yearling at 10yds on the way to the tree Monday. Had 4 does come down the field edge to 40yds out and hang a hard left; cutting the corner to the pasture behind me and through brush. No shots, but I saw 20 deer that day. Moved the stand yesterday to intercept them Thursday after the rain and temps drop today. I do enjoy the hunt! NUTS |

Honky, in your whirlwind sell-off of all things hunting, did you unload that custom skinner? My custom works well for squirrel but needs a bit more blade for the bigger game. Shoot me a price if your interested in selling. NUTS |

Still got it Nutbag. It'll cost you the first deer you gut with it, provided it's butchered and wrapped (once again WITHOUT added fat in the ground). In addition, if you get rid of it, it comes back my way. Let me know if you agree to these terms since you won't answer the phone . |

Let me rephrase that. If you get rid of it to anyone BUT your son or daughter to carry on the tradition then it comes back my way. Man this phone tag thing is madness. No wonder we can't hook up to do something cause we never can catch one another on the phone LOL! |

Honky, I happily agree to those terms. I've been putting the call in after I get outta the woods, guess your doing something at that time. By 9:00 in the evening I'm in dreamland, up at 5:00am. My schedule is pretty consistent; what are your "available" times? I am reachable by text from 4-7 in the deer stand most days too. NUTS |

Nuts, I'm currently on my Halloween schedule due to the non stop scary movie selection being made available late at night. You can give me a call (or I can call you) before you hit the woods, or if you come out for a mid morning break, before 10AM. |
