Now I don't know what to do next. I do think I'll be doing this next though. I played around the abandoned Publix parking lot near the house. Kinda made out a battle trax course. Loads of fun. The police came and I asked "what's up?". They said "nothing much, just watching" cool! I thought they were there to run me off. After about an hour or so I was tired and was about to leave when they got out of the car and motioned me to come over where they were. I though "here we go", they just wanted to know about the bike, and asked if I knew about the training course they had. It's the one over at Gwinett Fair Grounds. I asked if I could go over there and play, they said they wish they could have the public come out, but they couldn't. It's OK, the parking lot over here is way big, empty and clean, at least for now. They said they couldn't get over how far I could lean the bike over. I was trying to get my knee down. They also said they wished more kids would learn their bike in an empty parking lot rather than the street. Kids!? Ha, do I look that young?! I been meaning to do the same thing myself. Got to practice those wheelies. I am making a mold of the chin faring today. Hopefully I can have it done in a few days. oh..I did get all my leathers and boots this weekend so I gonna need to break them in!   Glitch Posted on Monday, July 12, 2004 - 07:55 am:        Guess they were taking a break from the "100 days of Heat" Well I was on private property, and, the L'ville police are pretty cool. Now if I had been doing burn outs that may have been a different story. I been meaning to do the same thing myself. It's a lot of fun, plus you get to try out some of the things you've read or heard about. Good way to keep sharp without having to worry about traffic, and other urban hazards. I am making a mold of the chin faring today. I hope it turns out as good as the oil scoop did. Just let me know how hard I have to twist your arm when you get to the fly screen New leathers! Cool! What did you end up getting? Does this mean you're free to ride this weekend? I turned Shred, Gator, and Along4theride down to go to the mountains Sunday. I don't think I've ever done that before. My sister got me a Buell bike cover. I know I'm spoiled. I turned them down as well. Jager/redbull shots until 4:00 doesn't equal a Sunday morning ride. I am leaving Thursday afternoon for Florida...for work. I've been asked to speak at the Florida Society of Orthotists and Prosthetists meeting. I won't be back until Sunday afternoon. So....no riding for me until next week. The leathers will have to wait Thanks.. Shred and Gator for showing up Sat night. My wife said she really liked my "biker buddies". I can use that later when I want to ride. Good show guys. If all goes well, I will have the faring done by Thursday. Those rivits are a biotch to remove.
