Well I've finally been able to do a follow up post. My Buell thinks its a jet ski I guess. Everytime I ride it rains. I went back to my dealer last Friday to check on my seat. Went ahead and scheduled my first 1000 mile service too. My salesman was like "You put 1000 miles on that bike in 2 weeks?" Well I didn't buy it to look at. Hopefully soon I can hook up and go riding with some of you guys.

Stealth: I won't be there too late tonight. I need to get some QT in with the wife and son. They head out to Florida Friday afternoon. i wont see them after the a.m. Friday. If long for some good time with me... it may not be worth your while.

Rooster: we are goin to the mountains this weekend. If you can get away from the choppers, you could come up Saturday p.m. You have a place to crash in the ATL. Then you could make the Sunday ride with us.

I'll post a few pics this afternoon I took at the Vortex. I didn't get a lot, mainly because of this dreadful drought we are suffering from.

New12r: good to meet you and your better half.

Shred: even though it wasn't what we call a ride. I was a still good "ride". It's good to have you back in town.

Torqer: wish last night had been a little more wet and we could have stayed out and played longer. But, it was still a good time.

I was amazed at how many bikes showed up last night. Just goes to show not all "Bad Weather Bikers" ride Buells. I was even more amazed at how many squid showed up in wife beaters, t-shirts, even shorts!

All in all it wasn't too bad. I'm still trying to figure out if I hate Atlanta traffic or the constant rain. Traffic you can ride out of and/or away from. There seems no escape from this freakin' rain! But, put the two together and you have one miserable Glitch!

Stealth: If you'd like, I could make Athens a part of my trip. The plan is to head out from here after work on Saturday... 6:30ish. I'm riding up and staying the night in Blairsville. I've confirmed there's room for you to rest your head for the night. then we can wake up in the ride environment! Then, we hook up with the other 3%ers at TWO around 8:30~9:00. : )

Shred broke down this afternoon, so he wasn't too bored. Looks as though his sparkplug wire came undone, and the plug itself backed out a bit. Thought his engine blew there for a little while. That's the excitement for the day so far.
Kinda funny, you work at SMHD/Buell and I work at Coke. When we tell people this we get oooos and ahhhs. I've found it's like most any other job really, and the kind of excitement that goes on there I can do with out. Bet it's the same for you huh?
