I don't have the integrated turn signals/tail light, but I have two XBLights (full board running, full board stop) with the flasher modules. I absolutely love them and consider them a mandatory upgrade for anything ridden in traffic. Around here, I wouldn't consider dropping the side turn signals - traffic fails to see me often enough, and the 1125 turn signals are quite bright. I'm actually slowly collecting 1125 rear turn signals for the XB9 - if anyone has some laying around, I'll buy them off you. |

K. I was considering looking into them, just didnt know how much "brighter" the XBlights are compared to stockers. |

"OWMYEYES!" bright. They're a *huge* improvement. They're also LED, which means the switch instantly instead of ramping up/down like a filament does. LED + flasher module is stunningly bright and brilliant. If you want to come take a look at one, I'd be glad to show you. As I've said before, I think they're totally worth every penny for something ridden in traffic. |

I would like to get one of the XBlights rear kits, but that is about 200 bucks I don't have. |

I figured $200 was cheaper than getting rear ended on 40 by someone who didn't see me... At least this way, if they hit me, there's no way they can claim they didn't see me. |

Yeah, that is the only drawback is the money. I dont know if $200 is something I can spare at the moment. In my experience, the brighter lit you are in New Mexico, the more other traffic is drawn to you....kinda like those bug zapper lights. That is mostly because of all the drunk drivers we have here though. |

I would have to agree with Agfish. Headlights on, bright tail lights, and bright jackets attract the idiots to you much like the bug zapper effect. (a very good analogy!) I have found that for me, the best defense is a strong offense. I ride like everyone out there is going to kill me. I constantly watch my mirrors and ride aggressively. |

Yeah, I ride with my brights on 24/7, but also ride aggressively and watch my mirrors. I'm not going to change out my standard equipment, though. |

Check this out.... http://www.motorcyclelighting.com/hyper-lite-bmw.h tml Hyper Lights have been around for some time. They are one of the "standards" for Bright LEDs... They cater mostly to BMW riders with "kits" but they also have light sets you can mount on any bike. Very bright, rapid attention getting flashing types, and even bright running lights... all with the purpose of getting blind/dumb car drivers to pay attention. |

That's the plan. I need to find the hotel pretty soon, though. Guys are going to start crying that they don't know where to book at. |

I'm planning to attend. Hopefully my gf will be coming with too She potted about some on the XB9 yesterday - the low seat plus having the suspension set for her weight made a huge difference. It's still tall for her, so we're looking at either thicker boots or the SCG suspension bits (boots are cheaper!), but she can ride it. It's just a little bit happier on the highway than the Blast... |

Anyone have either spare 1125 rear turn signals, or XB turn signals? I could use a few of one or the other... |

I have a couple jackets I am getting rid of, and a couple 1125R parts: stock windshield (a little scratched up from sitting in a box for the last 2 years) and the stock rear fender (minus turn signals) for the 1125 as well. I have about 2 boxes of spare parts, but they are mostly a mix between Buell 1125R, and Honda CBR parts. |
