No can do TWT this week. Is Di's first week in school and we are busy getting her set up for all the projects, etc., so we will have sometime together to enjoy summer. Funny thing is, it isn't the course material that is taxing. She will ace that. In fact, she is qualified to teach about 75% of the curriculum. It is all the dumb little projects they have them do where the resources are all well documented in full length and condensed reference books. Lots of desktop publishing stuff which is really redundant. Time management is going to be a real challenge this summer. |

Speaking of Time Management, the Brew Crew must be up to their necks in work, family and vacation if recent posts are any indication. Three expatriates and a friendly foreigner are about it. Would like to read more about both the clubs and members activities if possible. |

Ok ok ok ok ok . . . . .. I gotta chance to have some fun here . . . .My boss want’s to take his staff out for a day of non-work fun and bonding . . . last year, we played golf (my first ever golf game – I learned I am a pretty fair motorcycle rider!) He said, go find something YOU’RE good at! So – any one know of any Kart tracks where you can rent the Karts and like that? Closest I’ve been able to find is west of Janesville – there gotta be one closer than that! thanks

the discussion revolved around two items . . . . there have been a large number of get offs this year (not just Ukers, but all over), and some folks think that a tshirt or fleece slipover will offer some protection . . . . . . I have, however, climbed down off my folding soapbox, and won't rant anymore on that topic ride safe, everybody, please |

I liked the mental pic of you in a "Straight Jacket" much better. Perhaps we can get a pic of you, me and Dyna in them. Sort of a Three Stooges deal. You will be able to tell Dyna in the pic as he will be the one with the gag in his mouth. |

I have no idea if and when they'll close. If I make it down there before they do I'll let you know. |

Bomber...Check the online manufacturer's and retailer's to help narrow your selection and then call around. Dyna was just at the Torque Center and didn't have much good to say about the remaining inventory. Then again, I don't believe he was looking at ballistics. Don & Roy's in Brookfield and the Lake Country (?) in Waukesha had a pretty good selection. Don't know about female sizes but let me know what you are looking for and I will call around for you. Don't worry too much about sizing. They can always be tailored. In my case, I can't buy anything that doesn't need tailoring and there are plenty of shops around that can do it on leather and ballistics. |

Are you guys saying that the Torque Center is going out of business?? I haven't been there in a month or two, but I would be surprised if that were the case. |

Any idea on how Sportland2 is for accessories and clothing? I think they're down near Ryan Rd. and the airport someplace. |

Bill true enopugh on the tailoring, me too . . . .. Don and Roy's what? is it a dealership? been checking manufacturer's sites, and got pretty good ideas, but would like to touch/feel before purchasing (as the purchases will include a full face helpmet, which MUST be tried on in person, I'm thinking) |

The news about Torque Center came as quite a shock as they were a major sponsor of the MX events in Lake Geneva. Don't know the exact story about what direction their business is headed but from what I hear they will soon be history. |

Sportland 2...Hmmm, I keep forgetting to go there and check it out. However, if you search Uke's archives I believe you will find some commentary about it. |
