Anyone happen to have a car tow dolly? Just the type that you have the front two wheels of the towed car on? Thanks, Phil |

Two Weeks until Springfast is history... 3 day ride, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday, 13May: 0900 hrs-Meet at the Flying J truck stop, south of I-40 and 98th ST. There is a Dennys there, if anyone is hungry. KSU at 0930 hrs. I-40 west to Grants, turn south on 117 to Quemado. We can stop here for lunch if the group is hungry. Continue on US60 to Springerville/Eagar, there is a Safeway we can stock up on supplies if needed. Continue south on HWY191 to Alpine and check in at the Tal wi wi Lodge. Lodge info: 928-339-4319 A block of 8 rooms are saved for us, $80 a night, two double beds, or one king. Free wifi, Restaurant, 4 miles from Alpine, AZ. Tell them you are with the "SPRINGFAST" group. http://www.talwiwilodge.com/index.html Saturday, 14May: 0800 hrs- Meet at the cafe in Alpine, AZ for breakfast and riders meeting. Depending on the riders, I tend to break the group up into smaller groups. This lets the "fast" riders lead off, and stay in front. Most riders can ride in the second group, and we will have a sweep rider, at the back of the pack. There is very little traffic along 191, it will more than likely be just us. KSU at 0900 hrs. Ride south down HWY191, stop at Hannagins Meadows for photos, then continue on. I expect we will stop a few times as there are overlooks, and spectacular views, plenty of photo ops! Lunch in Morienci at a local cafe, good grub, and friendly folks. Head back up HWY191, we can stop at the open pit copper mine if anyone wants photo's, it is HUGE... Once again, we can stop along the way and take breaks, there are numerous overlooks, and picnic areas between Alpine, and Morienci. Saturday evening, dinner at the Tal wi wi restaurant, and social hour... Sunday, 15May- meet at the cafe in Alpine, AZ around 0830 hrs. KSU sometime before 1000 hrs. bid farewell to our Arizona riders, and head back to 'Querque. if we didn't stop at any of the scenic views on the way down, we can stop on the way home... Stopping for lunch in Quemado is again, an option. The weather changes in a minute so make sure you pack warm gear, and rain gear if you have it. I've even seen hail in the middle of August up there. Any questions, feel free to contact me: Buelligan63@gmail.com I look forward to meeting and riding with you... Nick, is your buddy coming with you again this year? Kelly is leading the AZ group, and the last I talked with him, he was planning on meeting at the same place, the chevron on US60, and Idaho. Not sure of the time, he will probably post up here. The Colorado group is up to 5 now, and 3 from NM. Looks like the women will almost outnumber the guys this year, |

Springfast Plans for AZ: If there are any west sider's joining us on this FABULOUS ride, will meet up at the QT on the west side of I-17 and Thunderbird at 8:45am. Kickstands up at 9am. Meet up with everyone else at the Chevron on Idaho Rd and US 60 at 10am. Kickstands up at 10:15am heading towards Globe on US 6o where we'll take a short break and then follow US 60 through Salt River Canyon and take another break at the large look-out on the far side of the canyon. From there we'll head into Show Low for another break and lunch if we're all hungry. From there it's only another 1 1/2 hours to the Tal Wi Wi Lodge. On Saturday we'll follow Bart's plan riding Hwy 191. On Sunday after breakfast I will be heading back the same way we came up through Salt River Canyon. However if anyone would like to take the route through Payson and ride Hwy 87 into Fountain Hills you are welcome to, and we can help you with directions if needed. If we could get a head count on who's coming that would be helpful so I know who will be meeting us and where. See you all in 11 days!!! Kelly |

Yea, I just got a Pilot power 2 front for the CRR. Where do you get your tires mounted? have you tried moto Tire on Cave creek? $25 mount and balance if you bring in the wheel. I always brought my wheels to him. |

Starting an internship with AFI Turbo sometime after my final exams. The last final is the 11th, if he wants me to come in right after that I won't be making this... though I really really want to ride the 666. Phil |

If you decide to go your welcome to crash on the floor in my room, Tylor is already taking up one floor spot as I waited too long to reserve and they only has single bed rooms left So if anyone got a double bed room and only has one body to fill it I would love to trade!! |

Super fun ride this weekend. I did it. Rode the 191 with alot of Bart's help talking me through those switch backs. Quite the learning experience I must say. Had a good "DOH" moment but after shaking it off I gave it my best. As Bart would say, "taming that dragon" LOL I think it tamed me, but learned alot. Lynn helped building my confidence. I probably would not have tried it with out her. Everyone was great and the weather could not have been better. Got pretty windy on the way back to Phoenix but in all. it was a great weekend. |

WOW! What a great ride this weekend! I loged about 725 miles total and spent $72.19 in gas. The MPG read out on my display gave me an average mpg of 37 Took some pics but don't want to post each one so I'm going to try to link to my photobucket. Let me know if it works. http://s62.photobucket.com/albums/h94/xtreme6669/2 011%20SPRINGFAST%20RIDE/ |
