Jaxson, Unless the leak is close to the head and pretty severe, I wouldn't worry about. Short of welding it up....it's gonna leak. You can get a band clamp (chrome) from NAPA probably 4in. that might might work if the joint is straight and same diameter. | ||

Charlie, You was there in spirit. Me and Nuts was wishing you was there as well. I told him to pull over so we could snap a pic to make you jealous so i hope it worked. Mike is from the same area/group as Tank. He goes by S1Mike on the forums. Nice dude, he ain't much to look at and when you shake his hand its like shaking a half pack of hotdogs, but a pleasant chap nonetheless . Thought i was gonna have to whack him over the head with a downed pine branch and steal his gloves once he let me try them on but I figured I'd be nice since it was our first ride together Nice pun regarding our pal Nuts. I was pulling for him too cause now I'm just lonely cause he's always too busy to play. I did enjoy seeing his ugly mug today in a non gay sort of way. | ||

Man, You hang out with some guys, shoot some pool, go for a ride, and they don't even give ride updates as they continue their trip. At least my buddy Nuts will call once every 6 months to tell me about his rides  I got a good ride planned tomorrow since I missed out on the Bikefest. Its gonna be epic I tell ya'! | ||

Thanks Nuts! You used to be Marlboro but now you're too busy so I had to replace you with Fury dude . As you know I always give credit when its due, so props go out to Zack and his crew. They did me right and made the decision an easy one. Looks like I'll be hanging out looking at the accessory racks in the coming weeks. | ||

Nice Jackie! Check that inspection closely!!!! 4/11 is this month! Updates... ummm... GA got rained out. Dragon was a total blast! Met some cool folks and dropped the uly in the parking lot, damaging half the new parts just put on after my crash. Oh well, matches the rest of the bike now. oops Picked it up, quick inspection and all is well, and ripped it through the dragon "to check operational stability...". yea, thats my story, "operational stability!" Thanks again for the ride out fellas. really good to see ya'll again! | ||

Charlie, Believe me I was crying over the Roddy V but this bike stirs my soul. Ask the Nuts, I always regretted not getting the Rocker when I bought the Roddy so I figured this was kinda like fate telling me it was time to say goodbye to an old friend and hello to a new one. With 74 miles it was just too good a deal to pass up. I will admit to hating the black though since they come from the factory with swirl marks and it goes downhill from there. On the up side, got the first swirls out of the way . I think you just came up with the new name for this fine steed. Road Serpent has a nice ring to it so I think I'll steal it with your permission. As far as specs, lets see Power - sucks Torque - enough Maintenance - easy Available accessories - tons Wow factor - OFF THE SCALE Tank, Man, sorry to hear about the tipover but THANKFUL you wasnt injured. I bet you guys wish I was there with the camera now don't ya'? I'd be posting pictures left and right . If anybody you rode with snapped photos please give me a link as I do enjoy living through others. I hope you and Mike make it back before too long and look forward to showing you something other than the BRP. | ||

Jaxson, Glad your enjoying the "Road Serpent",the names all yours. I see where the Roddy spoiled you in your spec report. It would cost a ton of money to get Roddy's power back, so just keep it as a fond memory of "Roddy V"and you will enjoy your new stead even more. | ||

She cleans up a hell of a lot faster than the Roddy V. Less chrome, less nooks and crannies, and less electronics. It was a mess since its been sitting for months and had been displayed outside at the dealership so I used the Captains Best to wipe off the grime. Gonna go over the chrome real good with some polish to remove the hard water spots and then hit the tins with cleaner, polish, and finally seal it with some wax. Now don't get me wrong fellas', I'm not turning back into a neat freak just yet but wanted to get it back to where it should be. | ||

Well Nuts, I ain't gonna beg. If you wanna go then give me a holler the night before. I went to the pond today and caught several Largemouth. They weren't on the beds yet but I bet the river Smallies are since they like cooler water. There was a boatload of good sized Bluegill spawning so we kept some of them to eat to thin out his Panfish load. | ||
