Nebo's Myself, Hammer, MikeXLR650, Hammeroid/Sean, and Dave Brumbear are coming up to visit you guys the 2nd weekend in June. That's 6/10 - 6/12. Hoping to meet up and ride/drink/build fire with you. We'll be in the Meredith/Tilton/Laconia area. Planning a Saturday ride from Conway to Woodstock via kancamagus. See you there! |

Chip- That makes me sad. We had some of those in my herd but they were stolen by JP and some of the Keebler elves. |

Hey Fritz....I'll join ya,but.. nothing like a casual ride under the posted limit with 500 or more other bikes! Unless of coarse you do it at night. You guys camping there for the weekend? |

"under the posted limit with 500 or more other bikes!" Yeah Spdrxb, That's why we're going the fist weekend. In past years, the roads don't become gridlocked till about wednsday of bikeweek. We usually get some good riding in on the first weekend. Friday we're camping at a KOA on the border of VT & NH, Saturday we'll either be in Tilton or Loudon. I'm waiting to hear back from the Tilton campground manager about confirming our reservations. Looking foward to seeing the old gang again. |

Hey guys. I just picked up another Buell. This time it's an 06 12r. It needs a TPS reset badly (idles at 2k+). It came with an ecmspy cable. Unfortunately I cannot get it to work. I have tried several drivers on two laptops with no luck. I need this bike up and running for work tomorrow. I know it's a long shot but is there anyone in the Lowell MA area that can help. It would be greatly appreciated. |

I'm of no use, but you have tried turning it down with that Allen headed cable gizmo, right? |

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/628092.html?1303323324 Here is a link to my thread about what I've done. I need to actually reset the TPS sensor. I don't think blindly turning the idle down is the solution. |

Anyone? I think I just need someone with a working copy of ECMSpy/cable to come by and help me out. Clearly something is wrong on my end. |

I have had a few Buells my friend. Feel free to come take a look at it. I don't feel like writing a paragraph listing all the things wrong with it. The guy I bought it from got it from a repossession auction. It wasn't all that well taken care of, but it had potential. |

Ok. Thanks for the offer. I will keep you in mind in the future. I am sure this bike will keep surprising me for a little longer. This is the first Buell I have ever owned that was poorly cared for and it shows. I will get her back in good condition though. It isn't so much that the bike needs work. I just don't like feeling like I was deceived when purchasing something. In the three days I've owned it I have put quite a bit of money into it. I have to bring it in to have the front forks/bars fixed because they are out of alignment. One of the forks is sitting 1/8" lower in the triple and the bars are slightly cocked to the left. After that is all fixed, I will actually go through it for a good once over/tune up. |

You can Bring me the bike if you want and I will service the forks, align the bars, TPS, tune up, and anything else you may need for a LOT less than any stealership will charge you. I am CHEAP and most here can vouch for my work. I've touched alot of bikes on this forum through the years. Just sayin' |
