Got it Vincent! Is that like the drink only not spelled the same ? It wasn't as depressing as I thought it was gonna be. Had a good day with the family and a good meal at Texas Steakhouse. The crew came home and went to bed before cutting into my cake so I got the dog and cat, cut us each a slice, and we ate it while watching The Exorcist. It really don't get no better than that boys! |

Throttle body on and tuner all set up and buttoned up. Exhaust comes Tuesday and if the rains come as predicted this weekend then the inaugaral test ride will be Wednesday . |

Jaxson, Going to have to re-name Roddy...to possible Rowdy. Once all these add-ons are complete. Is the rider going to be "bad-ass" enough for this new attitude or is a "new " wardrobe in store. |

Well I got the new jacket and already broke it in. Now I just have to get my assless chaps and new non DOT beanie helmet and I should be good to go. I figure at the Bikefest next month I'm gonna get the biggest HD patch I can find sewn onto the back of my jacket . Nuts, I figured Wiley Dr. couldn't handle my new awesomeness so I have a new route. Williamson Rd. and then multiple passes around Market Square. I figure while circling the block I'll rev the engine numerous times like my airhead brethren are fond of doing . |

Jaxson, Get you one of those "Ole Nazi helmets", the one with the spike on the top, that way when one of those "Beanners" cuts you off on Williamson and runs you into the telephone pole......they won't have to go searching for you...just pry you loose. |

Oh yea, and being stuck to a phone pole on Wmson.Rd. with your preference in chaps...well I question who your "quick responders" might be. |

Charlie, I really like those. I seen a fella' on a Hayabusa that was wearing one and I thought to myself "now that is a fine looking hemmet". I'm trying to be original though so maybe I can remove the spike and use the hole to mount a Mercedes hood ornament. I'd go for Jaguar but they quite putting the cat ornament on the hood. Now my chaps on the other hand, I know lots of people wear them but I'm not gonna wear trousers under mine. I figure i should get plenty of airflow and a nice tan all at the same time. I'm still trying to figure out if I should go with a nice pair of boots with Harley Davidson all over them or a pair of canvas Chuck Taylors. |

Jaxson, I give up.....ya got no shame. Don't know what "Chuck Taylors" are. But if you go for the HD boots you might turn up on a "South Park Show" |

Upgrades to the new rocket are complete, however due to inclement weather the launch has been delayed. The rescheduled launch date will be posted in the coming days. I'm kinda sad that the wrench turning is over. Gave me something to do and I looked forward to the packages arriving . Oh and by the way, RC Components WILL cut custom wheels for me. Maybe I will see more packages in the near future . |

Roddy V was launched today at 5:15 EST. Start up and take off were smooth. This thing is a beast. Deep grumble but not as loud as a drag pipe. Accelerates quicker than any rational person really needs, and runs like a friggin' top. Me and the Fury guy are going out for a long loop tomorrow so I'll get a better feel for how she's running. |

I was out briefly yesterday and didn't see you on any of the dirt roads I cruise. I did head up to the Parkway to see if I could spot the house from an overlook. I can zero in to about 1/4 mile away. Big day tomorrow with the dirtbike; day one of a two day school out in Appomattox. NUTS |

You missed a pretty good un' Nuts. 130 miles of wholesome goodness and the bike ran very well. Oh yeah, we had a cream style rootbeer to cap it all off. Hopefully you'll take me up on the offer next time instead of cleaning the garage . Charlie, Did you hit any twisties today ? |

250 miles on the new setup. Running great and sounds awesome. Shoulda had the headers ceramic coated though to avoid the dreaded blue header syndrome. I believe they will be coming off this Winter to be sent to whoever did Nuts Sr's BMW headers. |

I saw a V-Rod the other day come by the house. It was an orange trike with a 250lb lady driving it. And you say the Roddy's don't get any love. Charlie, How'd your weekend turn out at the track? MIne was spectacular; right up until I ran the 3 time National Enduro Champion over injuring his throttle hand pretty severely. NUTS |

We had a good outing.......It was the tracks big race for the year. We pulled a 2nd in the 40+ class and a 1st in the Open Vintage. So what is this national Enduro Champs name? Just in case I should run into him(figuratively speaking)might want to throw your name out there and see what happens. |

Charlie, he lives just outside of Greenville SC and his first name is the same as mine. I am trying to head down there for some private instruction next month; so far, no response. If he accepts my application I'm sure I'll have to wear one of those reverse beepers like the trucks have. My autographed poster is personalized with: "keep it on the trail". He knows now, I'm NUTS |

Nuts, I know several guys in the Greenville Enduro Riders....only one I know with that first name has one arm, still a kick ass rider. Several of those guys also run some Flattrack, they use to sponsor a track at Fountain Inn,SC.You ride with that bunch your in some tall company. |

Tank, Where you been hiding man? I'm all up for a ride but I doubt you'd enjoy the type of riding me and the Roddy V do. From what I hear, Nuts now obeys the speed limit too. I'd love to go for a ride with you but I doubt it will be as spirited as you'd like. I am able to go more than 20 miles without stopping now though so maybe a spin up to Mabry Mill and back down 311 is within the realm of possibility. I'll even buy you a burger at the little biker hangout up there. Be forewarned we will possibly have a Honda Fury, Kawasaki Vulcan, Honda VTX, (and let us not forget, Nuts's BMW) with us. If this doesn't all sound too mundane let me know and I'll see what we can do. If you're looking for something a bit more insane perhaps you can goad Nuts to revert back to his old ways. |

Boys, I had me an experience today that was simply amazing and will likely never be beat. I'm sitting beside a school bus at a stoplight on Peters Creek and I hear a bunch of screaming. Look over and the entire Varsity softball team is hanging out the windows hollering at me, making heart signs with their hands and telling me to rev it up. Naturally I oblige and they kept screaming and hollering. Light turns green and as fate would have it get stuck beside them at the next light. I opened my visor to show them I was an old guy and they went crazy which surpised me since I assumed they would lose interest since I ain't no spring chicken anymore. On the contrary, they were yelling how the nose ring and purple eyes looked really hot. Oh geez, I was on cloud nine let me tell ya'. Now before you guys jump all over me, yes I know they were 17-18 years old but it surely made my day let me tell ya'. These young lasses seemed to be, how should I put this delicately, better assembled than when I was a teenager. I rode home proud as a peacock . Don't get me wrong I would NEVER entertain any notion of such but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a pleasant experience. I present exhibit A. Now if this doesn't give you the wood then you're currently dead or need a prescription for Viagra.
