Maybe when i decide to actually come home, we can get a ride in, shoot have a get together with the old buell group. Thats the thing i miss the most, the meet up and ride and just hang out. I am like 1 of 3 buell owners here and i dont even see the other 2 buells that often. Let us know when you get back this way. We have added another Buell rider to the group, my son Mark bought a 1125CR while he was home on leave. My nephew is here now as well and he went riding with us last weekend, we then capped it off with dinner at Hoss's. I ride daily here. Hate it though, the drivers here are horrible than VA so im riding all paranoid most the time. Congratz to your son on chosing wisely! lol hope he enjoys it! I will get me a 1190RS, maybe not the first 100 but when the price is more reasonable/ street able to ride daily. I follow Erik Buell Racing on facebook. I love this bike! Bro's, my nephew did some riding today and found some more really tight twisty roads up in the Glouchester area. I'm going to head up there for a few hours tomorrow if anyone is interested. My nephew (Nick) is a MMI graduate and former Marine, an excellent MX racer and a chip off the old block. I didn't get arrested for riding wheelies but he did. LOL Anyway, he has matured in his riding and lives here now so if any of you want info on a bike, he's the one to ask. I'll get him on BadWeb soon enough. But i like the full fairings, just cant see myself riding in a more upright position on a sportbike. Either way im waiting for the 1190 to hit the streets in a more street style skin. But there are far better roads down there with much less traffic. And places where you can stop and take pictures of natural wonders too. Besides, I think it will be cool to do with friends... last time out I was a loaner. Easter weekend huh? Hell I got the time... 2nd Weekend in July too! I came up on two Ricers R1 and some Kawi something.... they were pretty fast down the few straight stretches. When I did finally get past them, I figured out why. They were sloooow in the turns. Anyway, once I got past them, I decided to play with them a little, let them catch me on the straights and then power through the turns. Probably the best one was that last S turn where we make the sharp right and then immediate left as the road comes to an end. When we pulled up at the stoplight a little later, the guy on the R1 stopped next to me and said... "Ahhhh Buell! That's what I thought that was" Talk about feeling good... made my day.   Goody Posted on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 - 12:31 pm:        I like that feeling when folks come by and realize it's a Buell.
