Jaxson, He might become famous, if it shows up on You tube. Well I was betting a thousand till the LSU game. I was starting to get a complex. Switched to the NFL and the dang Saint's lost(didn't deserve to win). Hope Vick and the Eagles can keep it alive, but I have my doubts.  | ||

Charlie, Eagles vs Packers should make for a really interesting game. If Vick can pull it together then they are likely to take the win but he won't get by with some of the mistakes he has made against lesser opponents. LSU has always been a personal favorite of mine so I was happy to see them put on the performance they did. I'm looking forward to tomorrows game to see who takes the whole shebangabang. | ||

Well Charlie, I really don't know what to say about that game. Oregon would have easily won if they would have kept to their no huddle offense and kept their defensive wall going. They did well for the first 1 1/2 quarter and then slowly faded. Auburn on the other hand looked just as sloppy on the offense but managed to keep their defense together due to Oregon abandoning the no huddle tactic. All in all it was entertaining but not played at the level I was hoping for from teams of such caliber but I will concede that Auburn deserved the win. Next year LSU is going all the way!!! | ||

Nuts, you know how he is with a new found toy  (momma probably made him throw it out) Jaxson, I agree with you on the game.....but at the end there was nothing left on the field but duck feathers. And hopefully next year it will be a different TIGER hunting duck.  | ||

Nuts, Well it did change my life but in an unexpected way. It got to where everytime I went in the grocery store I would get stopped exiting under suspicion that I have shoved a whole bologna down my trousers. Now that I have quit taking it I only get asked to please pay for the pickle in my pocket. I guess they don't take it real serious unless its an expensive meat product. Let me know when it gets there so I can give you some safety precautions because if it lasts for more than 4 hours you need to seek immediate medical attention . NVts, Sorry I missed your call. Wednesday is Ghost Hunter/Celebrity Rehab night so the phone stays in the back. Tomorrow is a no go since the wind is gonna be wailing. Charlie, You gotta admit scorpions are pretty cool creatures themselves so I figure I'm ok if I stick with any of the assorted venomous animals. I may have asked you this but my memory is gone so I'll ask again. You got scorpions down there? I'm pretty sure Georgia does and I know Florida. I've talked to my Fury riding buddy in much detail and we have had a few garage pow wows to come up with some entertaining routes that would be suitable for our old bones. So far we got a few mapped out that include some sight seeing but nothing I believe would be worthy of the Nutster. I'll also have someone to hang with at the Blue Ridge Bikefest this year which is pretty nice. Looks like all of the geezers I've been riding with will be going so we can all sit around and scope out the young chicks on the back of the crotch rockets and tell each other we used to be young like that. Hope we have warmer weather by then and enough rain to have washed the salt off the road. | ||

Charlie, The Blue Ridge Bike Fest is a gathering of 10-15 thousand bikers during the second weekend of April. Its held at the Roanoke Civic Center and is open to all makes and models which makes it a pretty interesting mix of two wheeled citizens. Last year the weather was PERFECT and I went Saturday and Sunday. The first day I people watched and mingled, the second day I hit the vendors to check out their wares. This year is supposed to be bigger, better, and have more entries in the bikini contest  . Nuts, Thanks for the invite but the dirt is a bit too much for my broke down self. Now if the entrance is paved I'll gladly park away from the dust storm and egg you into some sort of craziness that may or may not result in the need for a few stitches and a cast. As for cleaning supplies, alas my Roddy V is currently covered in a fine layer of dust and even has a few bugs left on it from last year. On a more positive note, the dust helps tone down the shine of all that sparkly chrome. | ||

Charlie, This will blow your mind. I still got the same 16oz bottle of Capt. Richards Best cleaner that I bought LAST February. It's still half full too. Since the Roddy is MUCH more comfortable to ride I don't get as many breaks to wipe the bugs off  . | ||

Jaxson, I can't think of a better reason to have a dirty bike, I'm glad you have a ride that you can enjoy. I have a ride and nowhere to ride it,unless I want to haul it three hrs.to start riding,which makes the whole thing rather expensive and more tiring than I can handle. I have indeed enjoyed this bike more than any other except my old 73' XLCH. I've finally reached a point in my life that I realize its never gonna be perfect even straight off the showroom floor and I'm lucky to have one when many people can't even afford food. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna abuse it but the days of constant cleaning and fixing flaws is over. If you'd ever get your butt back up here for a weekend maybe we can get the old group back together. I'm sure Nuts would gladly take a break from the X Games circuit to join us on a leisurely ride up to the Swinging Bridge and beyond | ||
