Yeah, let me know. Ed called SFHD and they have the XB9R seals for 10.50 each and the TT seals for 6.50 each. |

$3.90 each, the dust boot is about $5.50. I also called my guy in Farmington and he gave me the wrong price. they are the same thru him. Looked at stands at Harbor Freight today. Didn't have the one I wanted in stock. Will go back on my day off next week and see if they have it in. Talked to Murrae today as well, he said it's not to hard to get the forks off. There is no body work to fight with. Alignment is important he said. I am pretty sure there is a guide on badweb somewhere. |

I <3 Harbor Freight...I made a few trips there myself this weekend. (had to get a brake bleeder and a few other random tools.) And Bartimus, air in the line was the issue... bled the clutch line and everything was normal again. Still need to make an appointment to have clutch serviced. I also need to get a new instrument panel. mine always displays CEL and LFL when cold. |

Santa Fe should find and read those instructions, If I remember right, they mis-aligned the forks on Kim's city-X once. Adam, Glad to hear that, question is, how did the air get in there? CJ, it looks like i'm working on Saturday, so if you still want to ride, I'm up for it on Sunday. |

I might be able to do an afternoon ride this Sunday, maybe starting around noon or 1pm. We can meet somewhere then head to the east mountains. |

not sure how it got in... I am thinking that since the master was low, leaning the bike too far in one direction or the other, or going over bumps may have allowed air into the system. It was pretty low. |

CJ, I'm going to go ahead and head up to Santa Fe, and meet Kim. Then ride back down with her, and meet you at Dawns between 12:30 and 1:00. We can do the crest, and then ride down to the Ponderosa for lunch. |

Wait. I didn't think Kim rode on the street anymore. Do you still have a street bike? |

Yes, CJ I still have the Sprint. It doesn't get as much use as it used to, but I still ride on the street. |

it's going to be windy this weekend. I've got my toolbox here now, but I need someone with a strong back, and a weak mind to help me get my top box on, and my side drawers attached. Anyone close to the SW side of town??? CJ, maybe this weekend would be a good time to do your forks? |

Dude, NOBODY is close to the SW side of town. You have literally moved to the far corner of nowhere. Meanwhile, I'm not sure about this weekend. I have a 17 mile run Saturday morning. Not sure yet what else is being put on my agenda for the afternoon. I'm the reader in church again on Sunday, but could sneak away for a nice afternoon ride. Maybe I should bring out the Uly since I haven't ridden it in a LONG time. I'll also have to buy the seals and fork oil before we start taking shit apart. |

The far corner of nowhere is affordable and right on the edge of the desert. I like looking out of my back yard and seeing nothing but desert. It sure beats looking at the back of your neighbors house every day! I think I will take the ST out for a ride on Saturday, its supposed to be in the 60's that day, and cooling on Sunday. Try not to give any speeches on Sunday! |

Haha! Ok, I'll try. Have you been to my new house? It's on the edge of the desert too. On the complete opposite corner of nowhere. |

I live near San Pedro and Lomas...like 5 minutes from all 4 quadrants of town. and Rio Rancho isnt exactly the center of the universe, it is closer to BFE than Albuquerque... |

Well, I got the boxes all together. I'm such a he-man! So, I'm ready to do some wrenching if anyone needs it. I also have EcmSpy if you need a TPS reset or anything. Adam is correct CJ, YOU live out in BFE, I just live on the edge of nowhere. |

That's not very safe. I'd love to go for a ride, but Saturday is looking pretty full already. I'm up for 20 miles on my marathon training. After that, it'll be a few hours of recovery, then we have a dinner with some friends. What are you doing Sunday? |
