Thoughts on the ride?? Weather not definite, maybe a 9 am or later start? There will be many good weekends yet to ride, not interested to ride in cold/wet conditions. Check here again around 7 am |

I hear ya...Milt called me...told him to give me ring around 7am....weather check.....not looking good at the moment, for the a.m....but if it clears i'll be ready.... |

Milt is on his way to my Home in Downers Grove...weather is looking....not to bad so we are gonna ride out....Milt will call me when he pulls out..(maybe by 8am) so looks to be by me by 9am....seems clouds should clear and be nice out for a while.....Coolice call me or I'll try you around 8:15am

I was sweating it for the past couple of days. I thought I would have to leave Sunday for a flight to San Diego. Soooo it looks good for this weekend. Who all is going at this point? Are we going up on Saturday? |

Slimey Crud Run Schedule,
Tim Stewart and I just phoned. Here is our crud run plan. Please join us as the weather looks nice (but chilly in the morning).
Confirmed riders at this time are Marc, Tim, and Milt per his post above. Tim Gunderson needs to code faster so he can make it as well.
Schedule:
Meet at I-90 Belvidere toll plaza at 8am for breakfast and warmup at McDonald's.
Depart toll plaza at 8:30am for Pine Bluff, WI
Standard Slimey Crud Run including Pine Bluff and Leland stops.
Depart Leland for Chicago Metro area around 3pmish.
Hope to see a few of you there.

I've made plans to pass through Racine, picking up Rocco and Dana P., then to New Berlin to pick up some other Milwaukee riders, finally on to Pine Bluffs.

The ride up was very, very cold.
We picked up maybe a half dozen other Buells along the way.
We didn't actually make the run to Leland for fear of running out of sunlight and freezing our extremities off. The ride home was nice, though.
Met lots of friends, saw some bikes, told some stories... |

Fellow WCCluber's,
Just a few notes from the last meeting.
Congrats to Speedy for a pair of Second places and a trio of Third place overall season final placings. As we all have grown accustomed to, his quiet demeanor, dedication and a never ending sense of humor decry that fact he is just on badass rider!
On a more somber note, like the stand up guy that he is, Sam Scholastico offerred to be laid off from IL H/D to prevent someone else with more familial responsibilities to be "out there" looking for work in these tough times. Technician staff at IL H/D has been reduced by 50% and winter rates should start by the time this posting is seen by all. Discussion also revealed the effects of how and why Crete H/D had closed it's doors. Let's get together in November or earlier and discuss how our club should present something to Sam for his stalwart support to our club and to Buell.
Just my two cents, Ohhh by the way.
If I give you my two cents, and you take a penny for your thoughts. Who get's the change?
