I have two more coming. It's my brother and girlfriend on my old Concours. However they won't make it in time for burgers on Friday night as they both work til 5pm (God forbid they call in sick like I am). Also my sister probably won't make it, but her boyfriend is for sure coming. Bart, we'll meet you at your house at about 8:15. See you there!!! |

David, got it, will see you up there, ride safe! Nick, glad to hear you got some rain gear, and hopefully, you will drive the rain away. Don't forget a sweatshirt, it will be chilly in the AM. If your pipe is that loud, i think we will put you in the group up front, so us old folks don't have to listen to it. Hey Snotty, You really need to update your profile, You don't even have a Buell anymore! LOL Deb and I are leaving around 8:45AM see you in the AM! |

I'm finally back on two wheels. Installed new rocker box gaskets and some how managed to snap the clutch cable where it threads into the primary. Pulled the primary cover off, extracted the broken shaft and installed a new clutch cable. Just finished a test ride and everything appears to be good - no leaks and the clutch feels good. I am glad to be back on two wheels just in time for the cooler weather. Chance |

What a great ride this weekend! I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did. 10 bikes, and about 14 people showed up, to bask in the high country sun, and ride one of the best highways in the state. Thanks to Dave for the great barbecue Friday night, and all the beer! Meeting up at US60 and Idaho
Well, the ride for me, started a little shaky as my temps kept creeping up on the CR when ever I stopped. When I stopped at the meet up spot, I found a blown fuse for the fans.
I ended up stopping again, in Miami, where I discovered a small pebble had lodged itself in the right side fan, stopping it from spinning, and eventually caused it to short out. I unplugged the right side fan, and continued on to meet the group at the Salt River Canyon overlook.
The group was spread out at various cabins in Alpine, AZ because we filled up the first choice of cabins. Some were nice, others were a little rough. Next year we will be staying at the Tal Wi Wi lodge, which has about 15 cabins.
Bob and Linda's beemer
Dave provided the barbecue, and beer. It was a cook-your-own, but the girls quickly stepped up to the task.
Gordon had fallen in his driveway, and bruised his right hand
After dinner we started passing around a bottle of Goldschlager. This always seems to loosen everyone up.
The party soon moved over to the fire pit, and we tried to put a dent in Dave's beer supply.
Dave did a face dive, but managed to miss the fire... I'm sure he thought nobody had caught a picture of that, LOL
We had breakfast the next morning at the Alpine cafe, the food was good, with plenty of space to accommodate everyone. Afterwards, the girls went hiking, Dave And Gordon stayed behind to nurse their wounds, and the rest of us headed out to New Mexico, and then looped down to hwy78 to ride up to Daryl's memorial.
The memorial has been removed, I'm not sure who did it. The memorial has been there for 5 years, in honor of Daryl Levesque who went down there on a BRAG ride back in 2003. We had lunch in Morenci, and then headed up 191. WOOHOO!!! We stopped about halfway, to stretch, and regroup.
We stopped next at Hannagans Meadows, mainly for a photo op.
We got back to camp, and chowed down on Debbie's green chili enchilada's. Thanks honey! Then tried to finish off the rest of Dave's beer.
The next morning we met for breakfast at the Alpine cafe again.
After breakfast we broke into two groups, Kelly wanted to ride with his brother, and his sister was there in a car, so they broke away and did some sight seeing on the way home. The rest of the group headed down through Show Low, to Payson where we stopped for lunch, and then headed down the beeline. Some pics Debbie took during her hike:
I want to Thank everyone for attending, everyone rode well, we had no close calls, and nobody got pulled over! Thanks again to Dave for the friday night barbecue, we hopefully will see everyone again in May for the SpringFast ride. B&D |

Most of my bikes are already in New Mexico. The CR is still in the shop getting the fan replaced. My time is getting pretty tight, still getting over the surgery from last week. Go back to work tomorrow night. |

Isn't your O.S.B. tune working well? My bike is already back, and running good once again. only took 4 days to get the fan in. I tried to bring my S2 back online today, the carb was pretty gummed up, thought I had ran it dry when I parked it last summer. I'll bring the carb into work and go through it tonight. Reinstall it tomorrow and all should go well... |

Took it out this morning Mikel. The carb work turned out fine, and the 'ol gal is running good again. Hey Frank, so shameful, I should sell it to someone that can properly take care of it, eh? The bike is a classic and deserves to be on a pedestal. I see your looking at Triumphs now. Not a bad choice, they are good looking, and good handling bikes. |

REX, you still have that bike? I thought you were selling it? I've got 6800 on mine now, runs great with the Erik Buell Racing race ECM! You work way too hard my friend, you need to take some time to play with your toys! |

Yep, still have it. I have about 2500 miles on it now. I am thinking of getting the race ECM. Sounds like it really helps. Did you get the wiring done, or the whole stator? |
