Still no job, but I'll be there Monday night. Zach has a soccer game on the east side at 5:00 PM, so I'll be over afterward.

Thanks for the good wishes for the show... Sales were bad but I did get 1st place in the "clay" category. (with an associated check for $1000) First two pitchers are on me tonight.

FRONT BRAKE PADS
Remove the right side front fender to get at the caliper bolts (if on an XB12X)
Loosen the pin hanger (in the center of the caliper) but do not remove
Rotate the wheel so the caliper is centered between rotor mount bolts
Remove the lower caliper mounting bolt
Loosen but do not remove the upper caliper mounting bolt
Remove the pin hanger (bolt)
Rotate the caliper counter clock wise and remove the pads. The inner pad has to be removed
through the wheel. CLEAN PISTONS WITH BRAKE CLEANER!!
After the pads are in install the pin hanger
Rotate the caliper back into position. Using red Loctite and tighten both bolts to 35-37 ft-lbs
Tighten pin hanger to 11-14 ft-lbs |

Good luck at the WP Art Fest this weekend John!
Does anyone have any plans to attend Biketoberfest next weekend? I am available on Sunday and would love to ride to Daytona. Zach gets picked up at 9:00 AM and I could leave shortly thereafter.

Nancy and I will be headed to Sanford Bikefest tomorrow. We will hit Seminole HD around noon and Sandford around 1 to 1:30.
nancy will have her cell.
Paul, I will be attending Biketoberfest Thurs.-Sat. but not on Sunday. I am sure someone will be going that day though. |
