That BSB ride Sunday sure is a looooong one. I know, this old man is a wimp. I'd need a nap somewhere through that day. A ride would be nice this weekend. |

Hey,do you guys know about the British car and bike show in Norcross Saturday? All the groovy blokes and birds will be there. John Lanstrom is doing lunch at Blue Moon at noon.If you have never been there it's pretty cool.He has a bike museum upstairs and he's not far from downtown Norcross. |

I was thinking about heading over to Norcross Saturday. Buellish, are you one of the groovy blokes? If it's about noon, I start out by stopping at Blue Moon. |

Im trying to get over there to Blue Moon forr a few minutes. What's everyones ETA ? I'm 2nd gen' GROOVY! Btw, Sunday we're going to watch Wera Nationals at Barber. Think it's $ 20.00 for the gate/paddock fee Smoke will be there racing....I'd be there of my bike if it wasn't wodded up, and I wasn't having a plate and a couple screws installed early next week on my clavical, lol! So basicly I'm going to have fun this weekend, cause I know next week means more pain. |

I'll post up when, and where I'm headed tomorrow, but I'd like to at least get over to the car / bike show in Norcross. Barber is tempting, but I'm really wanting some twisties, so a burger run to TWO on Sunday is in order to help restore some small bit of sanity that I have left. |

Dang, sorry I missed you guys. I had an interesting day. Left my house at 6 AM in the dark with my tinted shield, mesh jacket, and perforated leather pants. I froze and squinted for 45 minutes until I reached Moto 400 and met up with the other BSB riders. Fog + dark + tinted shield = suck. About an hour into the ride, I went to upshift leaving a stop light and found nothing under my foot. Doh, a nut had vibrated off the shift linkage. I learned the shift linkage lesson with my M2 about 4 years ago, but I forgot about it in the intervening tuberless years. I thought I was done, but the screw in question turned out to be the exact same size/pitch as the wing nut from another guy's license plate. Somewhere on 28 near the bit where you have to jump on 19 for a while, my friend Jason from work popped his motorcycle wreck cherry. He went wide in a left hander and looked at the ditch instead of the road. Instead of just steering back onto the pavement, he hit his brakes, and that was the end of it. He sprained his ankle pretty good because he didn't listen when I told him to buy real boots and not Icon riding shoes. His Versys was fine except for some cosmetic damage to the fairings and windshield, and we were able to ride home. |

Hey Guys, I'm posting this here as well as the want ad section since the bike is in ATL. I have a VS 800 Suzuki Marauder Cruiser for sale that a friend left me upon his death. It's a 97, satin black & chrome with leather saddle bags, crash bars, hwy pegs, and a backrest with pad. It comes with a med HJC helmet. All fluids, plugs, front brakes have been changed by me and it would make someone a fine first bike or commutor. I just don't have the need for it at the moment... It's on Craigs list for $2700 obo. Could use some room in my small gararge! thanks ~Frank 678 982-9942 |

Ouch .. that reminds me .. I really need to get some real riding boots. wew .. finally have the bike back going. It was down for a few weeks with a broken throttle cable. Also got around to putting a new rear tire on. Decided to take a small tune-up ride today. Was working out of Cartersville today and was able to cut out around lunch. Went up 411 then across 52, then up to the top of 60, came down and stopped at TWO. Saw a few nice guzzi's .. there having a guzzi rally this weekend. Anyone riding Sat ? May head out for a ride in the morning. |

Sorry I missed the ride .. worst of all, it that it was all my fault .. just slept in. Did'nt even get up till 10am. Really bummed because I've been looking forward to a ride all summer. Nothing better than a ride with friends. Could'nt even leave out late because we had to go visit a cousin who is in the hospital. There are, after-all, some things that really are more important than riding. ( unlike sleeping in ... agggg ) Wife stayed at the hospital for the night and I left downtown about 4 .. just started riding to clear my mind, then decided to head north and see if I could make it before sunset. Then do what I never do .. stop an take pictures. Well .. I did. Got a few nice photos. Though I found that the spots where you can stop are ok but the best shots are all while on the road. Think I'm adding an HD Go-pro to the list of things I'd really like to get someday. Only had a little pocket camera that was getting confused by the low light but shots came out ok. From Richard Russel near sunset Really bummed about missing the ride today. And some HID's to the list of things I am going to get. stock headlights are horrible on country roads at night. |

Buell minds think alike. I haven't been on RRP in a long while, so that's where we headed yesterday morning. You missed us by about 7 hours. Can't wait till Buelltoberfest. It's a shame we have to go soooo far for a decent ride ... |

Last time I was there there was ice on that wall, and better company. I always think I'll do a mini ride report or something with my pics but as I'm looking at the pics I took a year ago that I never did anything with I figure I'll just post the others that I took Sat. as I few of them turned out nice.
