TTR is gone! Didn't take a full week and the bike has moved on to a new owner!

Kimberlie: I didn't want to say it at the time, but I don't think anything Mike rides "has had very light use." I hope you got a good price for it. All: My son, Lyle, mail-ordered a Radar Detector today. I'll keep you posted as to the results. Saves me from spending my own money. I love that boy. Bob: You're a wanker! What are you doing challenging me to a race on the T595.net BBS? Nobody knows me over there. They think I know what I'm talking about. They think I can ride. They respect me. They don't know me. If you don't back off, sucka, I won't let you fab up a mounting bracket for me when I get my own Radar Detector. |

Ray - Regarding "light" use, from my perspective Baby he is 200% of pure lovin'! Generally speaking you would be right, Mike rides the hell out of his bikes, but maintains them to a "T"! This bike however was the exception, in fact I think my 14 yr old nephew put more miles on the TTR then Mike did. Well it has moved on to greener pastures, we of course have not told our nephew he will no longer have a fun pit bike to rip around PIR with on race weekend I'm sure he won't think it was such a great idea - oh well! The REAL problem is you butt-heads are riding TRIUMPHS! This is a Buell World, my friends. No excuses for not supporting our exalted countries products and swinging back to the side of the Red Coats! It's my understanding that all British bikes have a police transever built into the fairing designed by Scotland Yard with the fiendish purpose of destroying the American economy by giving said bike operators HUGE tickets at every turn! I personaly think laser 'jammers' are a joke. From our general knowledge of the amazing Stealth Fighter/Bomber, we all see that it works by not giving many flat, reflective surfaces up to the enemy. I haven't read any description of how 'laserjammers' operate. Radar jamming is accomplished by broadcasting a signal on the same microwave frequency as the Evil-Ones use. So it's simply a matter of attaching a small microwave oven to the front of your vehicle... And as for you Mike G. It was so cool seeing you two at YES! I can still hear Jon's voice. I am gona see you for your big partay. Bobnuts should be there too as his b'day is the 4th! 1954 seems to have been a big year for proto-humans, as I made my first appearence as Galen in that same epoch. Finaly to RAY2K, you know you get some good props from me and Betty, dog. She'd still be down like a broke dick dog if'n not for you and your truckly kindness! sooner, Galen |

Lurking and leaning in the Dark side is good Galen. A wize man once said, "It is better to ride through the Darkness than to not ride at all" Oh, I guess I'm that guy! Ouch, did that hurt? (Evil laugh) he he.. We may have to make the George party and yes, my B-day be the day after.

Not to worry, Galen, I still have my M2. Need to take it down for a bunch of 20000 mile service items, new belt, rear isolators, check oil pump gear, change fork oil, etc. and complete the new paint job on the Lil Farmall Buell Tractor Machine. The Speed3 will keep me riding while she's down. Still, the Dark Side has a stong pull. Look how many of our brethern and sisterns have fallen into the RatPack. Good company, says me. |

The wise man is correct , 'tis better to ride! I'd be on a Honda 90 if I had one! Of course the Buell will be more satisfactory. I can see the strong Limey, Lucas, Prince of Darkness pull the bikes from the land of the Druids has on you all ! I can only do my best to lead you all back to the Light . sooner, Galen |

Did anyone make it to the antique bike show on Sunday. After living in Oregon for 17 years I finally found Corvallis, but no antique bikes.

I missed the show because I was on the road. I'm now at my new job, damn it feels good to be employed again. Took a ride over to Lewiston last night and found a road call the Spiral Highway which is a twisty 2 laner off of 95 that runs down the hill into Lewiston, oh how fun. On the way back I picked up a bunch of bugs on the helmet. When I took it off at the hotel, all the bugs were mosquitos, yuch! Hey shotgun, Is that lawnmower powered by a triumph?

Loni, expect to receive the raffle tickets for the Buell Tee-shirt quilt any day. I think we will start a new thread just for it on the Quick Board. Spud took some nice photo's before he left town. Spudman, working makes you appreciate time off. But I'll bet all the time off sure makes YOU appreciate working. Hope it's going good and they're not too disappointed after all the build-up I gave you. (Hint: if they want to see you walk on water, try to stall them off til December) |

Ok I admit it. I've already started to clean up around here in preperation for Betty getting home this weekend.I think her heart was restarted on Wed. She woke up babbeling about floating around the celing in the shop looking down on her parts strown about the workbench. I think it was just the meds, but who can say? I'll just be glad to have her back. sooner, Galen |
