Okay, so at least give me till 9 to get the cleaners started and then I should be good. Where should we meet up at then? If we stay north, then obviously the peninsula is the best place to meet. |

The cookout is on the Pen at the American Legion Hall on Marshall Ave (in NN)
I would suggest meeting up someplace like College Park in Chesapeake and then just jump on like 17 or 10 into Smithfield. It gets you outside of the metro area.

mountain ride leaving from the Mcd's at jefferson and mercury. kickstands up at 0900.
i don't plan on getting any more speeding tickets this week; so you could catch up to us within your own interpretation of the speed limit if youre a bit behind the clock. |

Ok.... Route layout:
US258W across JRB to SR10N/US258W.
US258W to SR620 (right turn)
SR620 to US460N
US460N to I-95N
I-95N to SR288N
SR288N to SR6W (River Road) all the way to "Scottsville" -look for fuel
Continue on SR6W (...now Irish Road)
To US29S /SR6W, Continue on SR6W to SR151. (left turn) "Rockfish Valley Hwy"
SR151S to 666 (right turn) to SR56 (Scenic Bypass) "Crabtree Falls Hwy" (Right turn) -Hang on for dear life!!! -
SR56 to US11N (right turn) -look for fuel!
US11N into Staunton, VA. @ US250W turn left.
Ride out of town and hang on for dear life.
Return via US250E to I-81/64 then superslab it home for time savings. |

we never made it to the mountains, but i think we spent enough time in the saddle to keep Mel at bay for his surprise birthday party.

Monday morning about 10sh for a reservoir run. Bringing a couple of motard buds. I know Monday isn't good for everyone but it's the best so far. See ya Monday. |

thank you to all the Johnson's and the Byrd's.
it was great to have all you guys over and watching the kids play was very entertaining.
....  i gotta get better at thinking ahead and planning for these shin-diggs. it seems like i always give less than 36 hours notice ....
but still get a good turn out LOL |

and even though we took a path less traveled on today's route, it was the most silly-fun part of the ride for me. 
i always have fun getting lost, provided i have at least a half tank of gas.  |

and then a sun- 'ride the ride' ride
double the riding is cool with me !
wanna stop for lunch at La Familia on the way back one of the days? they are VERY reasonably priced, and we have been going there for the food/prices often/regularly that we established our selves as regulars, if that means anything to ya
i totally under stand if anyone would not favor Mexican delicatessen.

i found a group of riders in the 757 online. i have met only a few of them, but they seme pretty cool. i got this invite today

Meet up at WAWA on the corner of Independance and Holland at 10:00, kickstands up at 10:30. From there we'll cruise down through Pungo. If you haven't been out there before there are plenty of good curves to hit. After we ride we'll go to another Kneedraggers house and have a BBQ and throw back a few beers and get to know each other. Families are welcome to come out to the BBQ part of the day and it should be a good time. As always any questions or issues give me a call at 757-663-1883....hope to see you all out there.
