Mobbers and friends of Shazam, You may be wondering about Sam's & Mrs. Sam's honeymoon. They are going to Palo Alto, California via Colorado. Has anyone checked the BRAG account lately, that was a pretty fancy wedding! Plus Sam is dropping off his engine at NRHS, ya got to love this guy, plans his honeymoon to drop of his XB engine for rebuild. I LOVE THIS GUY. HE IS MY HERO!! You may be asking why Palo Alto, California. Palo Alto is a place of religious significance... a sacred place for Mrs. Sam who has convinced Sam to convert to the religion of his new wife, thus making the site in Palo Alto significant to him also. Palo Alto is the World Headquarters of the Church of Barbieism, and the home of the Barbie Doll Hall of Fame. Yes, Mrs. M is a Sister in the Church of Barbie! Sam and his wife have traveled on a pilgrimage to be Officially wed at the Holy Land of Barbie, the ceremony at the park Saturday was just for the straight non-cult members. The local wedding ceremony had been altered as there were rules by the Park Department that prohibited Barbie related items as it is considered a cult. So, Sam wore a t-shirt with a image of Barbie on it, and Mrs. M wore a reproduction of the Barbie wedding dress. At the reception, on the cake, were reproductions of the traditional Barbie & Ken Prom Night Set tuxedo and evening gown. There were even images of Ken & Barbie on the beer cups. At first I thought this was bazaar, but after a dozen beers or so (about an hour), it kinda grew on me. I would go up to the bar and say, "Splash a bit of beer on the Barbie!" Unfortunately... I could not stay until the end of the reception. About 10:30 pm Sharon dragged me by the ankle and poured me in the CR-V. I would have stayed longer, but they ran out of beer. I told Sam to double the order. I also forgot my 5 gallon gas can... it is new, and I had intended to fill it with beer before leaving. Sam said I could have all the beer I wanted!! The wedding presents were not opened at the reception... so we may never know how may Barbie dolls they received as wedding presents. Ya shoulda been there! | |||

Its about time to have some fun! Sam should be returning from his religious pilgrimage soon! My guess is that he is in route back from palo Alto CA headed towards NRHS to pick up his parts. I have to give him credit! As flexible as my new wife is, there is no way she would have let me step near a motorcycle shop on our honeymoon! The underwater scooters was a close as I was getting! | |||

Hey all, We need to figure a way to let Nallin know that Sam is picking this up during his Honeymoon. Then have them ship it to say, Dennis's house before Sam actually picks it up!!  Anyway, is anyone riding tomorrow??? (Sunday) Scott and Tina is your ride still evolving? I might be available if anyone needs a tag along. Dennis, sorry I did not make it up today, I am terribly occupied with a new puppy right now. Looks as though I will be at the vet most of the morning and running for crap this afternoon. O.K. Going out @ 9:30 ta 10:00 am. to meet Neill @ Bills house, going to Independence from there to invade Dennis's house (hope he has beer), probably cruis around Mo. to Richie or Keeth's house if their around. Oh yea, probably stop and eat at Hooters or something, (unless some female riders want to join), then it would be Applebee's or something. Any takers just call me tomorrow morning AFTER 8:00 (I'm sleeping in). Any one posted above that does not want the MOB to drop in please tell us or else!!! | |||

Digger... What the hell are you talking about... a spending spree??? I bought a new shirt for a good buddy's wedding and I "borrowed" my brothers credit card and went for BBQ. Sometime next month he is gonna wonder about the charges at Central and KC Masterpiece. I will just have to have another talk with him about the blackouts from his drinking, and recommend the 12 steps should start again at one! by-the-way... Master Minnich is back in town. He called, and me and Scott met him out at KCIR to watch the drags. He was bruised and battered and had big scratches down his back. Said something about Mrs. Minnich breaking a nail. It must have been a rough honeymoon! He was pale, don't think he got a minute of sunshine while he was gone. I asked him what he thought of Colorado. He said spend the week, and did not see any of Colorado... but went on about the cabin they rented! I won't even talk about the van! Digger... start your camera! S1lightning I will be up early. Scott and I will be putting a right peg mount assy on the Blast, and maybe messing with the race bike. At some point Fuscat may come over to start on the carb rebuild on his Honda. We should be in the bike shop most of the day... come on by! There is a big concrete slab in the back to park on, watch the gravel driveway! No beer... I keep that in Sam's garage... but have soda and bottled water... stop for some guys! ALSO... Scott and I pulled the decals off the CT70 frame today to prep for media blasting prior to powder coating. The engine was shipped from New Jersey Thursday after the restoration and rebuild. We also pulled the sponsorship decals off the race bike and someday will get new decals for the race bike. The CT70 "pit bike" is still not totally planned... it might be a "XB70S" or it might have "Poor Judgment Racing" and "POLIZEI" to match the race bike. Gotta get some money for the powder coating first! The race bike will be decaled with "Poor Judgment Racing" and a second one for sponsorship "POLIZEI associates, Security Consulting Service" a company I own that is in hibernation for my retirement. It costs me about $100.00 per month for the hibernation... I might as well sponsor the race bike with the company, and try and write it of as promotional! KCbill... Now that you own a thriving business... wanna sponsor a race bike??? Supply a front and rear tire and a decal with your company name... and we are set!! |
