Odie, If you create a free photobucket.com account you can load your fullsize pics on there. Once the pic is loaded it has a "share" option with four choices. Use the choice that offers a {img......} code and copy that code. Paste the code into the text of your message and Voila! |

Porta potty. I don't actually put one in there. I use it for vest storage, etc. It's huge in there. |

I use it for vest storage, etc. It's huge in there. Then he Pees off the side of the boat, just like everyone else. S'why I don't eat fish. |

I spent all day out on the S1 today. A long time friend of mine from work just started riding recently and wanted to see the Dragon. I took him up 60 to 68 to Tellico Plains for lunch, then we rode the Cherry Cola to 129 and up to the Dragon. We got stuck behind a freaking crane rolling 15 mph all the way up, but we got a clear run all the way down thanks to a couple of local cagers who pulled over to let us pass. I am in love with this S1. It feels kind of clumsy around town because it's a bit heavy, and the mikuni idles funny, and the steering head doesn't turn even as far as the poor Ulysses, so it has the turning radius of a 747. Out in the hills, though, it really comes alive. The steering is really sharp, the throttle response is precise, the motor is silky smooth, and it has a mountain of torque ripping it out of the corners. I have to say it wasn't even really uncomfortable! Riding the Ulysses feels like piloting a really tall bowl of oatmeal compared to the S1. It was a great day that brought back a lot of good Buell memories from years ago. I wish a few of you could've shared it! |

Oh, and the S1 killed a freaking rabbit on 60 heading back home. The damn thing hopped up in front of me, and I felt it hit my knee. I looked back in my mirrors and didn't see a corpse. Surely it couldn't be ... I craned my head around, and sure enough there was a furry leg sticking out under the air cleaner. I hope the impact killed it because if not, that rabbit fried to death on the exhaust. We pulled over and held a brief funeral, which consisted of throwing the rabbit (that we named Headly) into a ditch and scraping a bunch of burnt fur off the headers. |

Better a rabbit then a deer! |

Yeah, no doubt! Before we got back on the road, I warned my friend to look out for deer, and we saw one not 5 minutes later. It bolted away from the road instead of across it, fortunately. |

Hey folks! Long time no see/post/talk/whatever... Hope all are well and happy!! The fam and I are doing great! So, I'm pondering selling the bike and all its accoutrements and wanted to give you fine folks first dibs. It boils down to the fact that I just don't have time to ride anymore. Here is the skinny: 2005 XB9SX - with Black xb plastics Crossroads 0 degree bars Odie Pipe Race ECM Chopped cheese grater XB-R foot pegs K&N Air Filter (stock airbox, no cutting) Select Seat I also still have the stock seat, Bars, and ECM. I will have to check the mileage when I get home... I want to say it was around 17k. The bike has been well maintained, and always garaged. The only time the bike has been on it's side was a minor tip over in the garage that I controlled (i.e. it did not slam to the ground). I am asking $4,000 for the bike. I also have: 4' x 6' bike trailer - $250 Scorpion EXO 400 helmet XL (used) - $50 Scorpion EXO 1000 Helmet XL Flat Black (barely used) - $150 Flip front Helmet XL (black) (used) - $50 2 Piece Leather suit (I'll post the particulars on it tonight) - $100 XB-R Saddle Bags (Buell) - $100 Battery Tender - $25 Service/Repair Manual - $25 I think that covers everything, but I will add anything else that I find. If you are interested, just send me an email to russtyson69 at yahoo dot com. Seeya! |

I will be fashionably late to BTF4. I'm flying back from a conference in Canada on the 15th, so I won't be able to ride up until Saturday. |

Update on the bike stats: Mileage is 17,544. And it will soon be needing a new front tire. |

Sorry, Russ, but you are not allowed to sell your bike until you have another Buell to replace it. It's in the 3% BRC bylaws. |
