Hey thanks man. I tested out yesterday at school, and then went back to the hotel rested then drove home last night. I drank 42 ounces of coffee on the road last night. I feel like a zombie now sitting on the couch. Next time I come down hopefully it will be when I want to go not when the boss wants me to travel. we got about 6 more weeks of crappy weather I can hardly wait for the daffodils to bloom. I love Kentucky and feel at home there. K |

Funny you should mention daffodils, we kinda use that as a timer for spring. We have some already poking through the ground. My wife's homeplace has a field covered in them and every year we bring about five or ten clumps home with us and we currently have between 50 and 60 dotting our yard. We look like little Holland in the spring. Anyway, glad you made it back and hope you're feeling better. |

You talking about the one April 16-18th? If so, I'm going. We never got a lot of interest on BadWeb, the idea was started 3 years ago by DragonSlayer on another forum. He hangs out on BuelletinBoard and had about 5-6 guys going. I'm heading up the BuellForums contingent, we'll have another 5-6 guys. It's not about any particular fourm, just about Buell riders getting together. We've had a great time the last 2 years. PM me if you want more details. Hope you'll join us. |

I can't go to the Buell/Dragon Meet. That's the weekend of Road Atlanta. Another bro and I are going to Georgia to attend, weather permitting. |

I might try and make Buell/Dragon Meet. There is another the 23-25 April. Its April Buells Day. In North Georgia. There is some info about it at the bottom of Storm Fronts. If its anything like Buelltoberfest, there are alot of Buells from all over the US. Lots of good camp fire stories. |

I finally got the Buell started! It seems that if it gets below about 60 degrees it doesn't want to start. Anyhow yesterday it powered right up. I think it was about 65 degrees and after that it never missed a lick or failed to start. So I went to the Depot, the Steel Horse Stampede, and Two Lane Tavern a total of over 130 miles! That made my day! |

I went to the Keda Design website [advertised on the bottom of our page] and the You-Tube demo pipes they had on a Buell 1125 sounded kind of wimpy to me. I'm running a SuperTrapp on my M2 with 18 disks and my bike sounds throatier then the 1125 Demo bike. I'm aware of the fact that noise doesn't necessarily mean horsepower. Yesterday I put over 100 mi. on my M2. A little on the cool side [low 60's] but all went well. After Alan Nugent and I attended the March KMA [KY Motorcycle Association] meeting of the Hodgenville [Hogtown] chapter we went to Susie's in Raewick KY, then to the Cozy Corner in Loretto. Next we went to the Sherwood Inn in New Haven KY. We finally went to the Depot near Vine Grove KY where me and Alan split up. The Depot had a free fried chicken dinner. |

You'll be glad then to hear mine is finally running again, stupid speed sensor. It idles fine but spits and sputters when the throttle is twisted. Hopefully nothing a TPS reset won't cure. |

Yeah, disconnected the speedo sensor and that gave me spark but now it's idling fine but sucking air somewhere. Actually, it ran fine before so I don't think it's the intake gaskets, maybe the exhaust O2 sensor or the intake sensor. I did a TPS reset and that did not help anything. |

Does anyone know the starting time at the Red Mile Flat Track Races in Lexington KY this Saturday? Kerwin Disregard! The Kentucky race was apparently scrubbed and they got a replacement in Gas City IN. This isn't the first time. The AMA has been trying to get this race on line for years. It's been my observation That many of the Kentucky horse racer crew seem to have a bad attitude towards bikers and our races. Years ago Churchill Downs bought out Louisville Downs and one of the first things they did was cancel the Louisville National, an 1/2 Mile AMA flattrack race. Not much going on right now. It's raining and apparently it's going to be raining most of day. Yesterday I changed the oil in the Cyclone and then took it for a hundred mile run down to Clarkson,Upton and then finally to Hodgenville [Hogtown] before returning home. |

I was wondering if any of you had had problems with your front rotors warping. I've had two warp on me. Both were the original generation I rotors with the flat head screws. I was wondering if the generation II rotors [have the counterbored mounting holes] were more resistant to this warpage problem. |

No problem on the 9sx in 30k miles. The Uly I bought had them badly deposited (not warped, but it feels like they are) at 10k miles. The Erik Buell Racing rotor and mounting kit, and lyndall gold pads, cleaned it up nicely. |

I'm writing regards a tube frame Buell. They upgraded the front rotor and put 9 nonremoval buttons on the carrier compared with 6 buttons which were held together by 1/4-20 nuts and screws. I'm running the original Performance Machine 6 piston caliper also. I'm beginning to suspect that these OEM rotors are flawed because of the long slots cut in them. I'm not a metalurgist but I think that putting the long slots [for water channeling]is not such a good idea as it weakens the structure of the rotor and could make it more susceptible to warpage then a rotor which uses the drilled hole type of water relief. I've had two of the old style rotors go bad on me now and I don't as rule abuse my brakes. I can't find much on warped rotors at all when I do my Buell search engines. |

The only time "i" had any trouble with a warped rotor was the last time "i" had a tire installed on my front wheel at the H-D Dealer ... The TIRE CHANGE technician "BENT" my rotor and after it being denied by the SERVICE MANAGER, the STORE MANAGER and a dirty look from the OWNER "i" got a new rotor ... "YES", "i" now go to www.CycleGear.com Stores to get new tires now ... There is now telling what they might do to if "i" took my bike in for engine work ??? |

KENTUCKY BUELLers: Will be in Kentucky from the 2nd thru the 21st of AUGUST 2010 ... Do you'll want to do a BUELL GATHERING, ie: meet & greet lunch and a ride afterwards if there is a RIDE LEADER ??? The only days that are good for me are SUNDAY's the 8th or the 15th ... The most responses on which ever day will lock that day in so RSVP your chose "ASAP" ... "i" will be riding from Ashland and must be back before dark ... Have recently had both my knees replaced, so the ride to lunch and back to Ashland would be the day ride for me ... What ever Restau}rant chosen, "i" will need the address and zip code for those like myself will have to do a MAP QUEST to find it ... We have 17 days from today to get this rolling, so think fast ... |

i think i could do either day, although im sure the 8th will be best. As far as a restaurant we probably want something centraly located so who ever is going post up and we will see what will be good for everyone. |
