In dire need of a clutch lever. An incident in the parking lot at work yesterday has left me without one. Lets just say I need to adjust my handlebars to avoid pressing the brake lever up against the new fairing when making a tight left turn. If anyone has a spare laying around it would be greatly appreciated. |

DaveS...Just a note to thank you for the invite. I had a really great time at the open house. Wish we could have spent more time chatting, but you were most certainly a very busy man today. Again, congratulations on landing at Appleton HD/BMC. That is a very well run business. The showroom had the best stock and layout of any I have seen. The service department looked immaculate and all of the employees were warm and friendly. I can see where you fit in well and should have a very promising career there. One last thing a few of us observed. The folks that attended the open house were all very friendly. It was an organized, clean cut affair that was family friendly. Quite a refreshing break from the stereotypical greaseball affairs I have experienced elsewhere. There wasn't a single attitude problem anywhere. Kudos to all! Thanks again and rest assured Appleton HD/BMC will be a mandatory stop every time I/We head up your way! |

Dave, I will try. Any word on that Blast? Is she trading it in? Also, another friend is looking for an M2 somewhere local(tri-state area). Any leads? |

Hey Dave...just wanted to drop a quick thank you for the great time at the open house. The Buell guy (can't remember his name) was VERY helpful with a few "mistakes" on the S1W. I was able to fix all but one when I got home. I won't be able to make the meeting tonight. Make sure to add my name and phone numbers to any contact list that might get started. Also feel free to mention I'd like to get a group together for a ride on Sunday (weather pending). Maybe cruise up Hwy 55. Later, Dennis |

Great to meet everyone. I am excited to get riding with the rest of the Buell team here in the valley. Well we still have to get a name. Just to get the ball rolling what do ya all think of The Fox Valley Posse........Or um maybe Valley Extreme Team....Or Valley BRAG motorsport riders.......or I will keep trying. Thanks Dave for all of the effort and such with the group.. I know you have got alot on your plate. If there is anything that I can help with give me a holler and I will see what I can do.. Mark |

"Alot on my plate" that is an understatement! Good thing I love my job! I kind of like the references to the Fox river ideas. Or maybe the Houdini thing. Great Escape BRAG club? Fox River Buell riders? Fox River BRAG club? I'm sure we'll get lots of ideas before the next meeting. Did you get your bike out for a ride? Ride to the edge! Dave daves@h-dappleton.com |

Fox River Valley Riders Club, FRVRC. Should be able to come up with some good logos with that, just get your patches pre-approved in writing first though. For a slogan how about: Disappearing around corners faster than Houdini. |

That might be a way to convert a few of the die hard Harley Dudes to imbibe of the Kool-Aid if they think it is..... |

Quick search on the WWW shows a number of other "Fox River Valley **** Club" related to motorcycles. We need something that is "different in every sense". Maybe we can be the "Wisconsin Kool-Aid Club" |
