Paul … You've earned a cold beer, thank you so much for the pics!!! And for the rest of you … WHERE ARE YOUR PICS!!! As Shawn would say, “I need input”. Jimmy, Thanks for putting the border raid together and sharing the beautiful Canadian scenery and twisty roads. For the last three days I've noticed that my cheeks hurt when I eat. I mentioned it to the wife this morning and she told me it was probably because I smiled and laughed to much during border raid, imagine that. Looking forward to hurting my cheeks again next year! |

All's well that ends well, as Bilbo Baggins said. Jaci and I did the Green Mountain road but had to backtrack to get to Osoyoos as I couldn't remember the back roads route. We caught up to Deb, Bob, Loni, Chris, Dwayne, and Eric at Leavenworth for the night, somewhat by surprise as we ddn't have a firm destination until we hit Osoyoos. We headed out late from there southbound. Probably following Chris and Loni. Lost an exhaust nut but I thought it was just a cracked header so I didn't try to fix it until the next day. Had a fun night in Vancouver, Wa. Did my first "open mike" performance and earned two free beers. So did Jaci. (But she wasn't a virgin.) Two nights in Seattle. Reasonably good weather the whole way. Except the downpour for the last twenty miles into Vancouver Wa. Stopped at Tumwater at the Gerbing factory and bought new gloves. Glad to have seen you all and glad to be home. Keep safe, friends! |
