How many of you take your bike with you when you go on vacation? My family and I are leaving for the Outer Banks NC. The Suburban is loaded down. I am trailering my Honda XR650L. I decided not to take the XB12s because all of the sand and salt. I can ride the XR650L out on the beach you can't do it to well on the Lightning. If I were going somewhere other than the beach I would take the Buell. |

Hi Gator. I take my bike on every vacation I go on. I am leaving for maine 3rd week in August on my Buell Ulysses. The third week of sept. I am going down to Gatlinburg on the Ultra to meet a friend of mine from florida. She rides a metric cruiser. Then three weeks in october and back down to Gatlinburg. This time with the RV and the bikes in tow. |

Maine, one of the greatest states in the union. I'll be headed up in a couple weeks to the western part of the state (in the cage), but will probably head back up in September and rent a bike in New Hampshire for a long weekend of riding in NH, VT, and ME. Anything to get away from this heat and humanity. |

Took mine in the back of the Subaru Baja last year going to Savannah, GA. Great idea. |

I took the Honda XR650L to the Outer Banks NC and road it out on the beach. On the hard packed sand along the water line was easy to ride but the loose sand was tricky. |
