Hey guys, I will miss you all. I have watched my last sunset in Virginia and the first in North Carolina. Once I get the roads down packed, I will let you all know. Jimmy will probably beat me to that though. See you all later. |

Ok, here's the scoop. A couple of buds from work with supermoto bikes want to go for a ride. So far the consensus is Monday. All those in favor say "aye". I told them about the site and I will post this also in the weekend rides section. Monday morning about 10sh for a reservoir run. Meet up at McDonalds in Williamsburg. Motards are a blast on that run. |

Did an awesome ride today over in Suffolk and west of Suffolk. About 2 hours of back roads and lots of good turns. Navy bud from my home town took me around... need a GPS to lay out that run. Awesome and a excellent biker pub to stop off at on the halfway point. |

Good ride guys... a little "off-road" adventure never hurts! (unless getting sprayed with gravel counts) Better cookout! Thanks Matt for inviting us over. Next time I'll make sure to bring only the youngest child. That way we won't have wayward teens causing trouble. |

so i got my 1125 back from SSHD today. i rode it down to a friends house (who coincidentally happens to live just off of ballahack rd) and then home. the whole way: voltage was >13 at idle and 14.0 when off-idle. |

yes it is battle blue, but the airbox and fender i just scored are thrust blue. i had found him and another guy on buellxb both selling thrust blue plastics late last year. i was trying to collect a set all for around 200. i offered him 100 for his scuffed tail, but Xbrr wanted to sell the seats with the plastics and woulndn't negotiate. (it seems that now he has allready sold them seperatley) i had dibbs on the other plastics but i didn't hold them, as there were others interested. thanks for the heads up, tho. deep down inside, i think i should stay away from anything close to a pastel color for my own pride and dignity |

Matt, I am planning on putting the 12 headers back on. I am missing the torque. I will have to do it mid august so I will send or bring the headers back to you by september. |

I have done it! I changed my first tire in my back yard on my own! (Now all I need is touch up paint for my poor rim) But it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Sure it took longer then taking it to a shop and having someone do it for me, but everything gets better with practice. And before you ask, I lined up the dots. (Now all I have to do is check the balance) Overlooking the obvious technical concerns, there is something liberating about knowing you don't have to pay those charges every time you need to change a tire. Once I finish all of my other maintenance and put the wheel back on the bike, I'll let you know how the ride feels. (See if I can tell a difference) |

david, i hear you. do what you do. i'm in no rush to get the headers back. mel, nice work! i hope my new rims for my 9 don't get gouged too badly next week. i think i'm gonna end up going to cycle gear for it. |
