Dave....no luck getting there tonight. I'm just leaving work now. 1 bike is missing the shifter (pulled to put on the S1W, replacing with Banke) and 1 bike needs to have the clutch cover installed. Not to mention the wife says my dog is sick  Might be able to get there Tuesday night. Have a great weekend!!! | ||

Well 5 days into my new job and so far, so good. I've had 4 riders take demo rides on Buells, have met some sportbike riders and am ready to start our new BRAG club next month. Meetings will be the 3rd Tuesday of every month. I have not found a location yet. I'll be taking a day off this week to scope out a couple of places that have been suggested to me. I'll keep you all posted on my progress on this. I've got 3 or 4 Buell deals cooking and hope to close on a couple of them this week. I have all the Buells on sale! Plus the 0 down and 150.00 in free gas card! I still have sling bags left, for those of you that haven't gotten one yet. I have emailed back and forth with Blake and will be getting a check cut this week for the sponsorship of Badweb! Formula USA races at Road America this weekend! That means Buells racing around the BIG track! I wish I could go but at this point it is more important for me to spend my weekends in Waterloo with Penny Hope you all can make the races and cheer on Jeff Johnson and Hoban Brother's Racing for me! You can check out the race bike and meet Jeff at the open house on May 15th. Buell parts are starting to come in, I have helmets,shirts(mechanic ones)0 Gravity windshields, tip over parts,race kits,tank bags and more stuff coming. I've already set up the suspension for a rider that bought his XB12S about a month ago and met another rider with a X1. I'm getting a list of all Buell buyers for the last 3 years today so I can make some more contacts. I talked to Kersten up at Doc's yesterday about doing some BRAG stuff together. I need to get up there and check out the zoo! So all in all I've been really busy! This is a lot of work, starting all over! Good thing I love my work! Ride to the edge! Dave | ||

Met two more local Buell riders yesterday. Geoff has a XB9R and has volunteered to take care of club shirts,banners,newsletter,treasurer and whatever else the club needs along those lines! I also met Mike, he has a S2 right now but is coming in today to see what we can do on getting him on a XB12R. He had Jeff with him, the guy I helped with his suspension last week. Said it made a big difference! Goeff is going to stop back so I can set his bike up for him next week. I've told them all about Badweb so hopefully we'll have some new, Appleton area members soon. Hey Dave: Welcome to Appleton. We spoke a few months ago at Terry's when you were there for an interview. I was the guy who mistook you for a salesman, and now you are. My M2 is up and running thanks to many here on Badweb including Lake. I received the Brag letter in the mail the other day and I am looking forward to participating. B.R.A.G. Club Ride to the races! The H-D/Buell of Appleton B.R.A.G. Club will be riding to the AMA Superbike Double Header at Road America on June 5th and 6th. Meet for the ride at H-D/Buell of Appleton at 7:30-8:00 AM. Ride leaves for Road America at 8:30 AM SHARP! The HOG club will be serving breakfast for $3.00 on Saturday If you are signed up for the “Bringing it Home” Rally you will have special Buell only parking and access to the B.R.A.G. hospitality tent at the track. Daves, How much would a rear tire for a '95 S2 be, and how long would it take (ride in on bike, drop it off to service, retrieve it with new rear skin, ride easy for the 100 or so miles home type of deal)? Not sure, just pricing at this point. M2 rubber is fine, S2 rubber is thin in back and thinning in front, wallet is currently thinner than either.  Wasn't sure where to post this since you're not listed under the Sponsorship section yet, or else I just missed it. (Hi Blake.  ) | ||
