Bike situation is shity. Still waiting for swingarm. Hardly dosen't keep ANY in house, so they are waiting for the goobs they score them from to send...it... out... oh crap, this is starting to sound like a muster call for a classic Buell Co. clusterfuck. With me face down on the bottom! But on other fronts, I'm really looking forward to a normal work schedual. Bouncing between 3 shifts seems to keep me too busy working or resting to get anything else done |

Congrats,Galen. We're still having fun in Texas, saying our goodbyes from the S2 gang this morning and planning our route home. One plan involves buying a Ducati 900ss in SanFransisco but now there's another plan that involves a 900SS in Seattle that is on eBay and closes on Thursday. So I was wondering if anyone in Seattle had time to go and look at the thing before I bid on it? |

Eric There is another low mileage 900SS in Olympia Washington too. Ebay auction ends Thursday as well. The pictures of your trip (in old school, S2) suggest you had a great time in Texas. |

Well, that one's gone. (the eBay one). I think the San Fran one is too, so we're sitting back until winter again having a wonderful time. We have been having a wonderful time. More partying than riding but that's fun too. Playing tourist now. Did a day in San Antonio, checked out the Alamo and the River Walk, then headed for Austin into a very scary lightning storm. Found refuge at Denny's house in lake country outside of Austin. Beautiful. |

Well the Buddha Magoo rocked Olympia and donated $300 bones to hungry elders in Thurston County. Was amazed and delighted to see ERIC and JACKI in attendance! How beautiful it was to see my alien friends. In reality one of our guitar players is an Ice-Back (northern wet-back) also from Canadalia! Should have my 1125 back by the time its paid off... |

My '08 has been in the shop waiting for a swingarm since the last week of April. Said to me they had to get the part from the mfg, as Hardly had none. Finaly was supposed to be here fri 5/28. Called and it weren't there. They called and discovered that it had NEVER been shipped.... Now I have been calling and bugging these bitches every three days asking whats up? Where is the part? Whats the tracking #... and always was told all is well, they understand I NEED my bike, blah, blah. So I am now informed that they can get a swingarm from another dealer, and have it here in 3 days. Why the f uck didn't they do that originaly instead of making me wait for freakin' ever? 'Cause they suck! Since the bike was there I told them to check the warrenty junk (clutch leak, inst. cluster cluster f uck, pulsing front break...) while they were waiting. They DECLINED, saying they needed to run the bike. There is nothing keeping the bike from being warmed up and worked on. It is just because they suck. I have purchased 2 new Buells from these dorks ('00 S-3, 08 1125R) and when I get my bike back I'm having my Hardly Tatoo that was given to me by the shop (as free advertisment) changed to a FU-HD!!!!!! ROCK ON Erik Buell Racing! F UCK YOU Hardly Ableson! (Message edited by sparropie on May 30, 2010) |

Yeah, Destination H-D in Fife really does suck. The Puyallup location sucks less, but Downtown H-D/Buell in Renton is great. |

******BOAR****** Next meeting is June 12th, 2010. We will be holding the meeting at Pacific Raceways during the lunch break of the Washington Motorcycle Road Racing Assoc's round 4 race on Saturday. Pay the $10 entry fee. Meet at the concession area at lunch, have a quick meeting and then do some laps of the track. SWEET Penguin! I finaly am off on weekends! And really? Laps? $10? I'm in! You can check out my band, The Buddha Magoo on my facebook page.... Galen Martindale is the name.... look for 'Blues for Mother Earth'. I don't quite know how to post links to it. Tell me what you think, We were gona play a party tonight, but the cops were already there when we got there! So much for freedom of speech. The bastards at Desperation told me yesterday I could pick up my bike this morning. Went to get it and it wasn't DONE! Not 'till closing time at 5 did they call and tell me it was washed and ready... so it's s'posed to rain tomorrow, right? Started new job tuesday. New systems, new protocols, sheesh... was getting better by friday. Sooner, |

I am so glad to have spotted the BOAR meeting info on here. Thank you for the opportunity to do those race track laps. Running the City X through the gears was fun, as was riding with other Buellers. |

Unfortunately, Galen didn't make it out. Would have been nice to ride with him; I've not had the opportunity to ride with Galen on his 1125R except briefly when I was riding with my wife 2-up on back of my R and we caught up to Galen heading to work on the freeway. Rode together at a leisurely pace only for a couple miles before he had to exit the highway. |

Out sightseeing today with Jaci and her ex-hubby, stopped at a viewpoint by UBC looking over the Fraser River, when I hear a Harley-sort-of engine start up. Looking over, I see not a Harley but a blue S3. So I walk over, introduce myself, "Hi! I'm Sportyeric. Do I know you?" And he says, "Yes. I'm Chris. Shawn's brother." |

Shawn is planning on coming. Had to have recent surgery on the clavicle but seems to be ready to ride. Chris is probably not able but might try to surprise us. |

Jaci and I are coming down to Seattle July 10th weekend to watch the drag races. One of our new-found friends from Texas works the race circuit and will be in town for that, then riding to Sonoma for the next one. He has asked if I can provide input on where to get tires in the Seattle area. Any suggestions? Bought and mounted in a reasonable time, for a Uly. And would anyone be interested in joining us? (We're not riding south with him, just watching the races and drinking beer after.) |
