Hi everyone I met Thekosack and Tepiddeath this Sunday, I joined them for a ride.   This is one good seat, didn't feel the wind when these two crazies were doing 150mph on 75 on our way to Cafe 27  This place is off the hook  and today Thekosack got me a job! Dam, you find the coolest people riding Buell's  Im gunna be bike pullin with TheKosack to work this week, I can't wait till next weekend  | ||

To add to what Torq posted, we had an enjoyable, curvy, fun filled morning! After breakfast Guy_glover and Torq parted from the miniture pack, and we became a pair of xb's. We rode over to Hollywood via 595 to 95, and visited a friend with a sportster who is moving away. We tried to coerce him into coming out to play, but he was all business, and he has a leaky petcock right now. While we were there I received a phone call from a friend who asked me to come and troubleshoot her boss's bike, a sportster that was leaking gas! So we left one gas leaking sportster and visited another! After that we shot over to Jackson's Ice Cream for a tasty heat beating treat, and then decided to ride over to Cafe 27. We rode out 595, and when we crossed under I75 we let loose and went wide open throttle for a short minute! Don't want to incriminate myself by giving away my speed, but it was fun! It would be really nice to get some more of us together, you know, show some south Florida Buell unity! I am, as always, looking forward to the next ride together! On a grim note, I got the call last week that the parts were in for Ruby, so I took her in this morning, and hopefully I will have her back on Wednesday. I will keep everyone informed, and want to go riding as soon as I get her back! | ||

Hey I was reading a thread on quickboard about a group of Buellers who adopted a piece of highway under the name Buell rider. It got me thinking about how cool it would be to have a piece of road here adopted by Buell rider, and what a good bonding experience it would be to pick up trash and help beautify our streets that we ride on. If anyone else is interested please let me know and I will look into what is involved. Hell, maybe we could even get a piece of road on the way to one of the rossmeyer dealerships! | ||

I'll be out to ride any and every time Thekosack is since he is my ride till I finish building my bike, money's tight so its hard to buy parts, it's a great thing that kosack got me the job at UM | ||

Spanky, you have a better paying job than I do! If you want to have some fun at work though, you should come to work with me for a couple days! You might even be able to find some parts laying around that you could use on your build!!!! | ||

Thanks Tepi, but i have a blast @ work with Thekosack, he's a real trip. He took me to meet some real cool people and he let me help out, "I think I made more of a mess that I helped" But he was cool about it, he helped me out and even got me a Myspace page, and it seems everyone want's to be my friend, check it out, just go to this link www.myspace.com/536228476 I have some real cool pic's there and pic's from Christian's going away party. Oh my god! I got pulled over this morning by Fort Lauderdale's finest! I was on the little 49cc scooty puff, and I rode for half a block in the bicycle lane until I got to the right turn lane. After I turned and drove a few blocks I saw flashing lights, I got out of the way so the police could pass me, but instead they pulled me over! I was so embarassed! It amazes me that of all the laws I am sure I have broken on my Buell I get pulled over on a 2 wheeled vehicle that doesn't even go 40mph! On a brighter note, I should be getting Ruby back today!!! I will let you know this evening... | ||

Ok so time for the RUBY update... Last week the service manager at Sunrise called me to let me know my parts were in, and he informed me it would take a couple of days. So I thought I made an appointment for monday(this past one), but their idea of an appointment and mine are apparently severly different! I called out a couple times during the week, and was informed that the work had not yet begun, and the same thing when I called today. I picked RUBY up this evening, and I guess they are going to call me when the mechanic becomes available(they seem to think maybe monday-again). Anyway, the good news is that I have my precious RUBY for this weekend, and I am ready to ride! I am thinking about contacting the customer service department of HD and letting them know how disappointed I am with the service dept, not that it will do any good, but I think it will help me feel better. Whatever- this all proves to me that they do not regularly deal with customers who actually ride their bikes, and probably not too many who's bike is their only transportation! I am ready to ride Sunday, so I hope a bunch of you's guy's shows up! | ||

 Kosack with his giant hotdog... and he keeps telling me it's only 3"!!! What a great day! We met up at 8am at CycleLab, Ratedx1, his mom's boyfriend, Thekosack, and myself. We took a nice trip to some of Broward's finest curves, and ended up at the Sage Diner in Hallandale Beach for breakfast. Our server was my friend Christina (who is probably going to buy Guy_Glover's roommate's 99m2, we are going to look at it tomorrow!) After B'fast we met up with Guy_Glover and his old lady, and we took a ride to their house to check out the collection of bikes, I swear his garage looks like a used Buell showroom or something! I don't think that I have seen that many Buells in one place- ever! While we were at Guy's Scarewolf rode up to join us, and we all left to go to Cafe 27. Ratedx1 had to dip out on the way to go to a bbq, and Scarewolf seemed to follow him when we got to 595, had to go to home depot or something? So Thekosack, Guy_Glover, and myself went to 27, that place was packed because ABATE was having their memorial day function. We didn't make it out of the parking lot, and after about a half an hour I suggested JACKSON'S! We made a quick trip thru the airport on our way there, and were greeted by a long a$$ line at the front door! We almost left, but thankfully we didn't, because the food and the company were not to be beaten! Any GUY- THANKS AGAIN! I thank all of you who showed up today, Thank you for being part of a wonderful day in my life, and I am really looking forward to doing this again!!!!! PS-Spankthismonkey was there for the whole day today too! don't want to leave Peter out! | ||
