Sweet, Yes I'm at Harford, great group of people. Bridget is great to work for. they were telling me Saturday, that there was an IP candidate on a Buell in the classroom. I'm at work from early am to about 6-6:30. If we can find power somewhere I may be able to bring the lap to work and meet you on the way home. |

Why is it that I have all this 'good' luck. Riding home from Ocean City yesterday, the fork seals give out on the Uly. You find this out when you suddenly have far less effective front brakes. Now I have the extended service contract, and this is the second time it has happened so the repair is free, but I just put new scintered pads on and they won't replace them under the warranty. That's just not right! Any ideas? (Sorry, had to vent) |

Hey Erik, I'm not an expert or anything, but maybe you can take the brake pads off and really soak them down a few times with good quality brake cleaner. Wipe the rotor down on both sides also. Don't get ANY on the wheel finish, though! Fork oil is really lightweight and should come off. |

Delta, You had a new rider, with a Rocker C, in your class this past week. I was the friend that he mentioned who rode the Dragon over the weekend. John seemed to enjoy the class. I had a great time. 1,800 miles in 4-days. Tornadoes rain & floods stayed on the west side of the Tenn. I also rode about 250 miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I see Rat and Shift want to do a TPS Reset party. I'm good for a riding party, too. |

Stopped in to OG HD in Laurel for an oil filter and noticed they have a black XB airbox cover with "chrome" Buell lettering on sale for 50% off the $220 ( I think) price - if anybody's interested |

Hey Terp, after the class I was wondering if John might be talking about you, said you traded a 9 in for an 1125. It sounded familiar at the time, He also mentioned that a Bueller in the IP was shadowing Wednesdays class and I didn't out 2 & 2 together until I talked to Shift. He is going to stop by work tomorrow and do a TPS reset. I'd love to ride, just have to find the time, I'm teaching every other weekend until August, just have to pick the right weekend. |

It just so happens that I'm free this weekend, I have ECM Spy on my old laptop and haven't had to use it (can't on the 1125 and the 9's not starting). I'll see if I can get the old laptop up and running. Anyone up for a ride this weekend? -RAS |

Rob, TPS reset perhaps? When I replaced the stock exhaust my bike ran like crap until I reset the TPS. |

Might be a little late...but for Puc_it's post about the CEL after an exhaust swap - what'd you do with the exhaust valve actuator? If you unplugged the electrical side, you're getting a light because it doesn't see the actuator motor. The "right" (i.e. no CEL) way to do it is, unhook the actuator cable from the motor and zip tie it out of the way, and plug the motor back in so it "thinks" it's working like designed. |

Not Buell related, but Summit Point related...Has anyone ran/raced/rented the go kart track there? Thinking about getting a group of guys together from up here, and making the trip to kill a day going in circles. Feedback appreciated, TIA Toona |

Rasmonis and Ratbuell, Thanks for the thoughts. I wanted to remove the actuator because I hate extra stuff sitting there not doing anything. I though there might be a work around. I'll follow your suggestion Ratbuell. Thanks again guys. |

Short notice: Frederick Ride tomorrow am, leaving Shell off Rt 75 New Market @ 8:30. This is a twisties only challenge, I have two routes I'm trying to combine. Right now I only need one - two riders, trying to keep the group small/tight and need to start on time. Most of you have been on these roads, I'm adding a west Frederick loop to the mix and we're not ending up at high rock for once. This not a lengthy ride, I'm going for continuous twisty goodness that we can loop and perhaps redo at a quicker pace once it's all planned out. About 2 hrs worth of riding once we start, no stops unless we need to for fuel. Total loop time approx 1.5 hrs. We're eating at Brewer's Alley once it's all said and done. |

Lars and Brian, Good ride yesterday. Some of those roads need to be added to the loop we've been doing. We did cheat the weather. I was pulling into the driveway just as it started raining hard.
