Don, Glad you had a good turn out. Enjoyed the pic's. That's a down right National Crime for a sportbike to wear out a tire like that.It ought to have plenty in the middle and the sides wore out.Should be a law. |

Great ride! I finally had a chance to lean into some bends, and take advantage of the brand new tire! Thank you for organizing this event. Stay tuned for a short video i made... |

Glad y'all had a good gathering Saturday. I finished up taking my self-administered beating courtesy of Uncle Sam (OOOUUUCHHHH!!!). I did get a little riding in Saturday afternoon and Sunday and grabbed a couple of tags in "SC Tag-O-Rama" over on ADVrider. Sounds like we missed some good Buell racing action up at Carolina Motorsports Park near Kershaw. See this post in the racing forum: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/158 664/555080.html?1271102937 |

Local shop in Columbia, Hawg Wild Cycles, has a '99 X1 Lightning Blue stripe for sale. One owner bought in Charleston, SC new. Has almost 9,000 miles and needs a RH front fork seal. Some abrasions on RH scoop. Otherwise looks good. Has Vance and Hines can on it and has original muffler to go w/it. Looks like it has PM wheels too. $4,000 negotiable. Contact Terry Miller 8037766356. See classified section for pictures |

Scott- Your wife has a 84 VT500FT Ascot? You should join the Yahoo Ascot group (http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/ascotvt500enth usiasts/) and list it there, or I'll be glad to list it for you if you'll PM me the info. |

Yep. Thank-you, Hugh. With all due respect to laws regarding common-law marriages in South Carolina; Krista is not my wife. |

Scott- sorry about that! I'm headed up to Thunder Tower in Elgin tomorrow at 1 PM for the charging system update on my 1125CR. The service guy said they're having a band, food, and a "spokesmodel" competition tomorrow. Maybe I'll see some of you there. |

Back from Thunder Tower- sorry I missed you Demarsico. Got upgrade done with no problems. Band was pretty good and the spokesmodels looked to be VERY "highly qualified". I'm away from home on dial-up right now but when I get home tomorrow I'll post a few pics. |

Here are few pics from yesterday's "spokesmodel" competition at Thunder Tower:
(this lady has been married 17 years and is a mother of 3!!!) Thunder Tower still has several 1125CR's on the showroom floor, a Blast, and a 2010 XB9 City Cross. They also have a few Buell T-shirts left for 1/2 price. |

What is the forecast for this weekend in NGA? Ours has some precipitation in it. I hope it does not rain... cause that is why it was moved to a different date. |

Last time I looked they're calling for 40%-50% chance of scattered thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday. I'm packing the rain gear. |

Well, it's a sad week down here. I noticed on buell.com that Lowcountry HD/Buell evidently sold their last Buell, a 2009 XB12XT, in the last day or two. |

The only sounds of a Buell Memory is the lonely Rental Blast and Mike's CityX straffing Low Country's Dealership! By the way I passed by North Myrtle Beach HD and saw a 1125CR for sale. |

Just got back from April Buell's day. Check the Quickboard for posts about it. Rough weather yesterday afternoon and especially last night, but a great weekend otherwise. Wish some of you guys could have made it. Definitely go check out the Lodge at Copperhead if you have a chance. |

Wow- this bunch has been quiet lately. I put about 400 miles on my 1125CR in the mountains in N GA, TN, and NC over the April Buell's day weekend. Kind of cool to have insane amounts of power, but I still like the Uly better... |

Hey Hughlysses share your thoughts. I am a motor nut so I am pulled by the 1125 motor but everytime I swing the legs over my XB9SX I love the ride..just wish it has the 1125 motor. They both are under the Buell family name but different (in every sense) world. I can only imagine what the 1190 feels like? Share your thoughts. the 1125 VS Uly |
