I wouldn't do that to you Charlie. That poor ole' Mamba might get sick from biting you and I refuse to subject the poor beasty to that. If you really wanna try to get your gator back I got a few tips for you. Grab one of the neighborhood cats and hang it over the waters edge with a pole. Then wait until midnight and go out there and dance around nekked with riding boots on while singing "I did it my way" as loud as you can. It has to be Frank Sinatra's version and not Elvis Presleys. I have documented evidence that this method has had some success. Not necessarily of getting your gator back mind you but success in getting you arrested | ||

Been busy working, cutting lawns, and coaxing my computer to get the interweb going every morning. It took 22 minutes today, 34 yesterday...good times. Feels like the wet weather is settling which means more lawn cutting. Work is going pretty well; as long as I keep from comparing my hourly slary to my wife's! I was there six hours on Friday and will bring home $36. The Mrs works 10 hrs today and her check'll be quadruple digits. I guess I am one lucky NUTS. Congrats Jaxy on the win, might as well mothball the Vroddy huh? Charlie, I'd use the cyclone smilie but it will lock my computer up for about 20 mins, so you'll have to do with a simple hello and best wishes. | ||

Oh hellllll no! Ain't no mothballs getting near my RoddyV. Them things are proven to cause paint peeling. Glad to hear the daily grind is going well for you. Hopefully the outdoor pool will open soon so you can get a tan. If you get any whiter your internal organs are gonna show if you're standing with your back to the sun. Charlie, Those parents got a big surpise coming to them Wednesday. We are playing Salem which is all 15 year old JV and travel players. My team is made up of three 15 year olds, six 13 year olds and two 11 year olds. Combine the age gap with the endless PMS and its a recipe for pure disaster. I've done given my ole' "as long as you try your best even if we lose we win" speech  | ||

Well guys, Somehow my ragtag group of little girls managed to pull out a 9-7 win over a team that had at least 2 high school varsity starting players in their lineup. I gotta admit I was impressed with our opponents defense. They only gave up one error for the whole game! Had to throw in a few well placed bunts and sacrifices but in the end it worked out. I am pleased Friday will see us up against a devastatingly strong team. I am honestly scared. | ||

Congrats Jaxson  Sounds like your team has a lot of heart.........and maybe an above average, conniving,opportunistic coach who these young ladies find inspiring. And when the time comes will leave your charge with the tenacity to serve them well in life. | ||

Charlie, It was a good, strategic game. We were visitors and they got my first 3 girls out in 5 minutes. We turned around and did the same to them. Top of the next inning I got the first 2 girls on base and started running some serious lead off and steal plays which got the other team flustered. Threw in a few fake bunts and slap hits to suck em' in deeper. Once the other team got up they tried for the aggressive stealing as well and I got my catcher to go for the throwdown to get the lead runner out on 2. We got her out so they quit trying to steal altogether and seemed to shut down their moral. In the end we managed to come out on top 14-4. I was very proud of all my girls. They gave their all and never gave up against a group of school and travel players older and more experienced than them. The kids are staying grounded but the parents are getting big headed so I imagine our pounding is just around the corner. | ||

Congrats to you and your rowdy band of warriors. Dealing with big headed parents is all part of the game,lose a couple and they'll turn on you like a pack of wolves. Forget them, just keep the kids grounded. Wish I could watch the maestro in action. I love a good strategic game. | ||

Well since Nuts won't call back I was forced to make the first fishing trip of the season without him. Rounded up my coaching buddy from last year and hit the river. Final tally, 14-10 my favor. Charlie, Far be it fom me to brag about how I never miss a hookset and my amazing casting ability. Last night I ran out of minnows before the other guy so I'm just standing there while he's trying to catch up. I couldn't have that so I just held out my hand and the fish started jumping right into my hand. I guess they figured when I'm in the water they can't get away so they might as well take the easy way out It was an aweswome sight indeed. Rumor has it that National Geographic wants to have me star in a new show called The Fish Whisperer. | ||

I checked the ole' call log and I did indeed make the call to my good buddies phone at 5:22 Saturday evening. No worries though. Whats the work schedule look like for next week? We are gonna cut back on practices so I should have some free time. Charlie, I hate to say it but dementia must be creeping in on ya'. I don't recall ever being outfished by our resident NUT. Oh he might claim its happened but I'd ask for some proof if I was you. He's been known to spin a yarn or two in his time. | ||
